Hi Grant, As I said in my later post, it appears to be Dutch but the tracklisting is identical to the original UK version. In tiny print, it says "Also available on CD 475 330-2" which is the UK one. So who knows? It's probably Malaysian!  Roger |

Hi Paddy and Karsten Thanks for your help with this very difficult to obtain CD!  Karsten stopped me from making an expensive mistake by ordering from CDJungle - Broke my own rules there because I won't usually buy unless I can see a tracklist. I have now placed an order with CDpacific who did show a track list so let's just hope they have it in stock. Incidentally, I did try to reorder the correct item from CDUniverse and have this evening been exchanging Emails with their customer service department because, despite my requesting that they make sure they don't send the wrong item again, it looks as though they have!! Ooopppsssss...........didn't know about a singapore edition!! I have to take a look if my bankaccount gives me permission to buy another one!!! Grant....Yes this is all very confusing, i have to wait till my latest Pure edition arrives.................i think it will be my 10 th version of it.....but it looks like there are many more!!! For example............i have a 17 track Asian Special edition, it is from Malaysia,but it hasn't a DVD track on it, so i have to go for that Singapore edition too!!!! Greetz JOYCE. |

Hi Grant, to my mind it's a little bit crazy trying to get the various versions, in particular because there are mostly no obvious differences at all. Wow, 81 replies so far, and not one person has mentioned the supreme irony that the album called "Pure" is rendered so many different ways. To my mind the word "Pure" should reflect a simple, unchanging perfection.
I'm proud to say I have the original Pure -- the real Pure as far as I'm concerned -- the NZ edition, and it's the best of the best. They got it right the first time.

Hello again everyone Want to let you into a little secret now :wink: I did actually place an order with CDJungle - then saw Karsten's info about this particular CD. There appears to be no way to cancel an order on their web site, so I sent them an Email (well two, actually) withing a few minutes of placing the order saying I wished to cancel. By the time Joyce posted about it, I had begun to wish I hadn't cancelled as, although it isn't the one I ordered/wanted, it IS one I haven't got. I received no response to my Emails, that is until this morning, when I received confirmation that the CD had been shipped! and, whilst this has worked out for me in the end, I am not at all impressed with their service. Their Email suggests I might like to tell them how satisfying my experience with them was!  I can see me having some fun responding to that once the CD has arrived! Best wishes Grant |

Hello Joyce, Karsten and everyone! My eighth copy of "Pure" arrived from CD Jungle this morning, and what a pleasant surprise it was! This is a really nice release with the jewel case protected by a cardboard slip case. This, and both the CD's inside, are endorsed "Special Asian Edition" I have just played it and realised, to my surprise, that there is actually a track on it that I didn't have - the acoustic version of 'Hine e Hine'!! Not even sure that I've heard it before either!! Incidentally, I have not heard anything from CD Pacific yet about 'the other' Asian release, so they may not have it in stock. Best wishes Grant |

Oh WOW, Grant another one to your collection!!!
I heard today, that my payment arrived in the US, after 3 weeks!!!
I created a PayPal account, but it doesn't work.........don't know what went wrong...........so i had to organize something other to pay, and it succeed.
Now i'm waiting for the CD!!
I think it is the same, you recieved today!!

My problem was that a credit card account could not be verified. The annoying thing is that good Ebayers are stopped while new untested Ebay members are given an account ! Graham |
