Does anyone know where its from? (link below) Hi NL I think we will see lots of different suggestions for titles for some of these tracks. This is actually Track 8 on "Hayley Sings Japanese Songs" and the title we have is "Wings To Fly" or, in Japanese, "Tsubasa Wo Kudasi". Perhaps one of the mods can move these posts to the correct thread. Best wishes Grant

Hi Northern Lights, and Grant, thanks for answering the question. I'm moving this thread to the Japanese Album sub-board but now that we know the answer I'm also deleting the YouTube link as it appears to be a direct copy of the album track (naughty YouTube uploader!). Cheers, Dave

When is somebody going to do something about these copyright infringements? Yes, I know we have sometimes sailed close to the wind here, but as far as I know we have never made anything available that is sold commercially. We might have live performances of songs that are available on records and DVDs, but we don't rip off other people's property, and I absolutely support that stance. CW in particular must have felt really cheated when most of the songs on a "A New Journey" seem to have been posted on YouTube. Although despite this, I still bought the DVD.

Martin Hi Martin, They can - and sometimes do - remove things from You Tube. Generally however they elect not to do this. I suspect that there are two competing factors involved - the possible loss of sales by the item being there, and the possible increase in profile because the item is there, I too am a bit surprised that so much of Celtic Woman is available there - having said this, I suspect that the management and record company of the group is quite aware that the items are there, and have elected not to take any action - possibly for the above reason. It is particularly of note in a case like this one, where a song was recorded for a local market which did not get a wide release. In such a case, the You Tube listing might actually produce net sales for the album over time - as I probably will buy this album at some point myself. I have somewhat mixed feelings about this- but to be honest, my first exposure to Hayley was through file sharing which was probably technically a violation of copyright. Jon
