Hello, I am a member of Indonesian Youth Red Cross. One of this organization's projects of the year is rebuild the houses and schools for earthquake and flood victims. As you know, there was a very big earthquake that attacked my city (Yogyakarta) last year and the earthquake killed more than 5000 people and destroyed more than 20.000 buildings(including my house and my junior high school, but they're better now). We need some donations to do this project. If you are interested, please PM me. I am sure your donation will be very useful to many people and we will change your donation with the handy crafts of our organization, my Hayley drawings and the rewards of orphanages community. Let there be peace on earth!

Hi Amarantine,
I remember this disaster and I am sure that like me, everyone else remembers it too, it was certainly reported widely at the time. I'm glad to find out that the condition of your own house and school has improved and I wish you well with your projects and the other reconstruction work.
I think the difficulty here may be that people in most Countries are used to contributing towards disaster relief efforts like this through official Aid Agencies, usually not directly to individual projects like yours, so this may explain why there are no replies.
You are welcome to post contact details for your preferred Relief Agency (does Indonesian Youth Red Cross have a website?) and that would allow people to read about them and about the disaster for themselves, before deciding what they wish to do help.
I'm sure many of us would like to find out more details about the problems in your own area and your own project, especially because these things unfortunately seem to disappear from the News reports in other Counttries after a few weeks. It's easy to forget that many of the problems still exist.
Good luck with all the work you are doing to help!
Dave

The problem is, we are not a big agency. We are just some teenagers/students who want to do this project in our environment. Of course I'll tell u more about this project if u are interested. Thanks.
