Thanks everyone, All's well that ends well! Of course, the true heroes are the Planet and Proboards staff who worked tirelessly (and sleeplessly) for over two days to sort out this mess! I saw a message by Patrick Clinger (Proboards founder) pointing out that one of their top guys (Martyn Dale I think) went 30 solid hours without sleep, had 4 hours sleep, then started off on another day of trouble shooting! Well Patrick has now posted the following on his blog: and it comes complete with the following signature (which he says we can all use if we use the complete code - see below) which contains a link to his Blog. So I have. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe complete code is: which can be copied and pasted into posts or a signature line exactly as displayed above. By the way, Patrick's BLOG makes interesting reading so click on the image! Cheers, Dave

However I did see two small issues... I utilize the "search" feature to look at the last 100 posts. It now only seems to show the posts made before the outage. Plus "view the 30 posts" only shows a few hours' of posts. Hi Joe Are you still having problems with the search functions? I also search in a similar way to you, but noticed no problems with the facilty when the forum came back on-line and they seem to be working perfectly. Best wishes Grant Hello Grant, Those problems have been fixed. Plus I read all of the posts that I have missed! Cheers, Joe

I apologise for the fact that the forum has been unavailable for approximately three hours. This was due to routine maintenance of the server. ProBoards received advance notification from the host of this scheduled downtime on 1st June but, due to their problems following the explosion at the Data Centre, they failed to notice that message. They have apologised for any inconvenience.
