Hi all, At groups.msn.com/RussellWatsonHayleyWestenrain the HWMultimedia section, on the 2004 page, there is now a new video, from Hayley's second appearance on German TV. Hayley performed Pokarekare Ana on a broadcast in aid of the German World Famine Relief Appeal. Artists in the broadcast all contributed 1000 Euro to the Appeal. Except Hayley. She thought 5000 Euro would be appropriate! Stay tuned for more video material in the next week or so - This Sunday there will be a special Songs of Praise broadcast, hosted by Aled Jones from the Royal Albert Hall. His guests include Hayley Westenra and Russell Watson! Gerrit

And I have now succeeded in getting ProSieben on my Sky digital system Hayley is on there one hour from now on Stefan Raab's show and I intend to record and digitise it tonight if I can - although I have no idea what Hayley will be doing! Wow, Hayley was fantastic![/size] in fact, considering I hardly speak a word of German, the whole show was fantastic! The main guest throughout the show was the legendary James Last and his orchestra and it was worth watching the show just to hear him play, years after the "last" time I heard him. But Hayley's entrance was completely unexpected - she walked on to the set, mic in hand and just blew us away... with "Across the Universe of Time" as you've never heard it before - never! Then she had her interview, partly in German - and proceeded to sing a verse from "Pokarekare Ana", also as you've NEVER heard it before! But I won't spoil the surprise - wait until you've seen the video I'm about to start digitising for HWI (Keith, Simon, Gerrit I'll email you when it's uploaded) Hayley was wonderfully relaxed and at ease throughout and clearly enjoyed guesting on Stefan Raab's show. This is definitely not one to miss! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Thanks, Dave. Thanks to you, Hayley Westenra International can now present a truly amazing video. Although it is largely in German, it is hilarious - and you don't have to understand German to get most of it. Hayley explains that she understands 'ein bischen' ('a little bit') of German. The presenter then immediately puts her to the test, asking her in a few different ways in German what her home city is. (Which Hayley doesn't seem to understand.) When Hayley does answer that it is Christchurch, the presenter then proceeds to say that that must be in 'Middle Earth' (in German). To which Hayley replies there are lots of hobbits walking around in Christchurch .... This is a sensational video - it features Hayley accompanied by James Last (his new CD in Germany on the occasion of his 75 birthday is called 'They Call Me Hansie") in "Across The Universe Of Time" and concludes wit a spontaneous performance of Pokarekare Ana. The presenter tries to accompany Hayley on the ukelele. Really neat - and thank you Dave, for capturing the video. Wow, it's great to see Hayley accompanied by James Last. I thought that Hayley performing with the south London boychoir group Libera was fantastic, but Hayley and James together was simply sensational! Whilst James Last is relatively unknown here in the USA; a few of James's concerts have recently been on PBS. I am a hugh James Last fan and I'm glad that "Hansie" is turning 75 with a new CD. Smashing video, Dave! Well done getting the signal of the satellite and digitising it for HWI ! Congrats!
