Dear Northern Lights. I am sure that more than those who have posted here are sending a wave of empathy in her direction, praying to support not only your friend Lia (who seems a lovely person to know) but her father Orazio. Also you and her other friends and the doctors who carry the burden of selecting who should be next. Love to you all. Peter S. Hi Northern_Lights, 'Just saw your touching news about your friend. Without postscript's eloquence (quoted), it's not easy to find the words. So, I'll just send my best wishes to you and your friend, with the hope that brighter days come very soon for you all. Paddy

no- she's adopted and an only child. Good news! Lia had the operation last night and was good this morning! Please still pray though! Early days of course and it remains a waiting game but that is good news and thank you for sharing that so quickly. Peter S.

Yes, both Lia & her cousin Natalia are brave!

I saw her on Sunday. She can't see a lot of people for three months so she can't go to school & school ends in three months. Either she will try to get the work done at home, or if the school won't let her, she'll do her grade over. She looked fine though

I talked on the phone with Lia on THursday. she seemed fine & was walking around. it wasn't her cousin Natalia that donated part of her liver, it was some more distant relative, not by blood. Whomever the donor is, she/he is brave
