Relax everybody. I looked up geonet yesterday myself to see where Gisbourne was relative to Napier & Blackbarn. There I found that NZ has had 30 Earthquakes of varying strengths since December 1st. I don't think the average Kiwi takes any notice of them, just sings louder. Graeme

I also heard the news on radio. It is relieved to hear that the damage is not very large.

Some new songs for Hayley might come out of this:
"I Felt the Earth Move Under My Feet"
"I'm All Shook Up"
"Shake, Rattle and Roll"
"It's Not My Fault"

I remember once, a few years ago, I felt a minor earthquake. My parents and sister were asleep and slept through it. However, I was standing when it happened, yet I only felt the sort of disturbance you get when you have someone kick a sedan with you in it or something like that. Thankfully, while it was only a town away, it was very minor- likely less than a 1.
I'm glad that all HWI NZ members are OK b/e the earthquakes- uh oh- where's Dori? She's from the North Island! Of is it just that I haven't seen any of her posts lately- let me check the last 24 hour member online thingy- ok, she's on it. I again annonce my first sentance: Thank heavens all NZ HWI members (that I know of anyway) are OK! I hope there aren't any more! Maybe Hayley should stop having NZ album releases and concerts, prehaps then there would be fewer earthquakes!!!!!!!(thanks Paddy for the idea in page 1)
