Hi all,
Another Jill Westenra, not Hayley's mum, brillantly completed a race last week. It included mountain biking, trekking and ocean & river kayaking.
Well-done Mrs Westenra!

Cross said the team survived on between 10 and 11 hours sleep during the seven-day race.
"This was our major race for the year, we're really happy to finish top three in a world event."
Wellington also had SQLServices.com (Barryn Westfield, Colin Slater, Dave Hicks and Fleur Pawsey) finish 11th, while Capital Stamina (Liam Drew, Barry Stevens, Kirstine Collins and Shane Ross) were 14th in the field, which was made up of 40 mixed teams from around the world.
Two other New Zealand teams finished in the top 15 -- Nga Rakau Pro4 Orca 5th and R&R Dunedin 7th.
New Zealand's CruVinDogs.com, the only all-female team to enter, finished in just under 176 hours, which would have left them just behind Capital Stamina in the mixed race and third in the men's grade.
An incredibly testing race, which Cross said offered everyone a spectacular way to see Australia, posed plenty of challenges for the competitors.
"You do everything yourself, you don't have any support crews.
"You've got to be really careful about food, we probably under-did it on the food so we were having to try to find a grocery store to get food while racing.
"At one point we stopped on the kayak stage to get chicken and chips, we were absolutely starving," he said.
The racers who have finished are now taking a well-deserved break, with the remaining contestants due to finish today before returning home.
