As there has been quite a bit of discussion about Hayley's favourite brand of chocolate, particularly in the Telford thread, I thought I would give it a thread of its own. To visit the Green and Blacks website, click HERE. I recently bought a bar of their Dark Organic and was munching away at it yesterday. I reserve judgement as to whether I like it or not. The phrase "acquired taste" comes to mind and let's say I'm still working on it! Has anyone else tried their products? If so, what do you think of it? Roger

Hi Roger, Perhaps in the future we can expect to see an "All Blacks" brand of chocolate on the supermarket shelves? Definitely one for the "Purists"... Andrew

Hi All, Further to Roger's posts... try some for yourself! Personally I couldn't eat a whole bar of chocolate like this in one go... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif It's definitley the "Real McCoy" chocolate though... Andrew

Just had a look at Green & Black's web site - hadn't realised there were so many varieties.
Now, just got to pop out for a little while. See ya!!
Grant
Edit: Back now! had to redress the balance and try this stuff for myself. I understand your comment Roger, it does have a very different taste, but I tend to agree with Hayley - it's yummy!!
Interesting Andrew, but my bar has a leaf pattern and not the lines depicted in your post.

Hi Folks I hope Hayley at least gets a commission from this company or a donation to a charity of her choice for all the publicity and paid for samples that are being consumed. You just can't buy advertising like this. What have you started Grant i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifcomet

Hi Grant, Heh-heh... call in the "chocologists"... (BTW I've just invented the term "chocology" : the study of chocolate! ) The picture of the 'Green & Blacks' chocolate bar which I posted is actually from April 2006 (the chocolate was scanned and the picture was included in my birthday greetings post to Hayley for her 19th Birthday on April 10th 2006). I guess 'Green & Blacks' must have designed some new chocolate moulds since then? Andrew

Definitely my favourite chocolate Roger. I eat very few sweets but I make an exception for G & B especially the pure dark variety. I can also recommend other flavours particularly cherry. I have to hide mine as there are a lot of chocolate mice in my house!! Once a bar is started I can never stop until finished even the larger bars. Whoops, I just let known my vice! Martin

This post has been moved from the Telford (St. Georges) thread. Have you noticed recently that Hayley is wearing green and black dresses? (Cardiff, Dublin & Telford). Is she trying to tell her fans something? Martin Perhaps she has signed an advertising contract with Green and Black chocolate after all, but it is a very subtle campaign and no one's told us about it! Peter S

The google ads at the top of the forum are full of "Green and Blacks" Hello Stephany and everybody! I noticed chocolate appearing in the Google Ads a few days ago. I have tried a small bar of Hayley's Green & Black's dark chocolate and found the taste rather sharp. I might start to like it if I eat a bigger bar. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifNow I'm getting peckish! Richard

The google ads at the top of the forum are full of "Green and Blacks" Yes, Stephany. This is not the first time I have noticed ads specific to certain topics. I am assuming Google is reading the site and the posts and automatically selecting ads related to the topics or posts' contents. Anyone any amplification on this? Peter S.

Some of the established members might have, but it must have come up quite recently in an interview or something because, I only discovered Green & Blacks when I was looking for an organic Easter egg to give to Hayley at Cadogan Hall.
Your presenting her with one of the same brand sort of confirmed it for me.
have you finished your own bar yet?
Best wishes Grant
