Hello Grant and everybody! I've just done some research, and my question may be slightly misleading. It appears Hiram K. Before this thread is locked away for posterity, there was a well known American singer in the fifties called Conway Twitty. His real name was Harold Jenkins so you can see why he changed it for the stage!! The interesting fact is that his stage name was taken from the names of two towns in Arkansas. Not many people know that ! Martin I always secretly hoped that Conway Twitty would marry Kitty Carlisle....
