We are already up and about, some with hangovers... no need to mention any names... 1 minute to go... HAPPY NEW YEAR.... LOTS of LOVE .... Marianne Here is a Snippet of Truth for 2007 : "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. ) (2Corinthians 8:9) MKJV

Hello again folks! The New Year celebrations in London were a huge success, and I joined the vast crowd on the Embankment to watch the fireworks at the London Eye. Here's a report from London SE1:- www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/2509Richard

New Zealand time any time. www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=951 is a very useful link, thank you Andrew for that initiative. I'm sorry Scotland lost out to the weather for its hogmanay celebrations and doubtless we will have a first-hand account from Richard on London's efforts, whcih I watched on BBC1. A superb extravaganza and Sydney's (only a brief glimpse) looked good too. What does NZ do, Belinda? Peter S.

Hello Peter! I had an excellent view of the London fireworks, and it was certainly a very spectacular display. I was just behind the crowd in Horse Guards Avenue, a few yards from the Embankment and directly opposite the London Eye. The main TV camera was on a crane behind me, about 100 feet up in the air. Happy New Year! Richard
