If you could have anything for Christmas, what would it be? My Top 3:An Alaskan Malamute puppy (a sub-breed of the Husky) Jason Isaacs. A Cheetah cub. I can't think of anything more cute. Seriously.

Hi, Nicola.
I love your picture of the two Alaskan Malamute puppies (a sub-breed of the Husky).
Are they of as sweet a temperament as they look?
I must snap a picture of my friend's new 'baby' of which I have fallen very much in love and he seemingly with me--which is just as well as house and cat sittinfg in the New Year i shall have to live with him as well!

Alaskan Malamutes have extremely good temperments. They are very affectionate and always want attention. They love children too. They are 'pack-orientated' so always want company and to be included in the family's activities. They are so friendly that they would never make a watch dog! The draw back is that they are stubborn and unless trained consistently and carefully they can be quite unruly. They need a lot of attention because they bore easily (they are bred to pull 1000 kilos for 50 miles in a day after all!) - if they get bored they misbehave. It's just about putting time into them and then reaping the rewards They are my dream dog. Not to mention just how stunningly beautiful they are. They grow very big too! I'm in love. Yes, you must!

Thanks for that update on marmalutes, Nicola. They sure do look huggable, as is the gorgeous puppy of friends that likewise is very intelligent, so bores very easily and gets into mischieve as a result Like children, the qaulity of your grown up dog depends on the childtime and patience put inat the off!
