Hey everyone! Please excuse my brief holiday from HWI, I'm back now! I just looked up 7Digital, and I found the UK versions of Hayley's albums there (and there are so many new songs!!). When I tried adding them to my cart and went to the checkout, it apparently allows you to choose any country outside the UK to purchase music. So is it possible to buy the UK versions of the albums from Canada? Has anyone tried this? I'd like to know if anyone has actually done it before I ask my dad to put his credit card number there -- something he really doesn't want to do. So, if anyone has been able to download the UK songs from other countries, please let me know! Thanks! Oksy

Welcome back! I can't speak specifically for Canada, but I have bought music from 7digital from here in the United States. My experience with 7digital has been good. If you are looking for affordable alternatives, another option to consider is buying the album directly off of amazon.co.uk (they ship internationally). I'm not sure how shipping would be to Canada, but I have bought Hayley's UK releases this way and shipping was affordable. If I remember right I ended up paying around US $21.00 compared to the $30+ the US Amazon wanted. Katie

Hi Oksana, I would definitely recommend 7digital. I have bought several songs off it before and have been very pleased.

Thanks guys, but, no luck. My dad will not give his credit card number. Obviosly, I understand where's he's coming from, but I'm still a bit dissappointed. Oksy

Sorry, to hear that your dad won’t use his credit card. It is easy to understand where he is coming from. If I was still living at home I don’t think my mom would have let me use hers. An option you could try is purchasing a Visa (or any other major brand of a credit card) gift card. I’m not sure of the availability of these in your area, but they are available in many of the banks around me (you just have to go in and buy it, a lot of them also sell them on their websites). To my understanding you could purchase a gift card and then use it like a credit card on 7digital. Since it would be loaded with a small amount of money and not be connected to a credit card there would be no worries about the number getting stolen (in the worse case scenario you would only lose a few dollars). You would just have to be sure it could be used internationally. Katie
