Someone made an early suggestion, Marianne, about creating a thread for childhood toy discssion and photos. I declined to doso as I'm not in a habit of creating threads. I feel too many threads throws discssion. All these discussions related to childhood and their pics. I suppose, I usually consider the creation of threads a prvilege of Moderators as they PM one another regularly and are more able to see the comprehensive whole in context with each thread. Or is that just a cop out? Peter S. Hi Peter, Not a copout at all !! Roger encouraged me, and it took off from there !! It's been great fun so far....thank you everyone for braving so many cuddly pics. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifYours is still to come, Peter I trust !! Love, Marianne

Thanks for the background info on the bubble car, Graeme. Very unresting. Am I right in thinking they were very much a 60s thing. That was their heyday?

Mine will come when I can get out of my present overload and find the albums, all of which are due to come out for family reasons as I may have stated previously. ALSO!!! I think I can offer something unique. That, actually is easily available. I just have to summon up the courage to reveal such pretentiousness!

Your above epithets are quite correct. Peter S.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures. Here are a couple more when I was even younger. Chewing on a spice container. Story time with my two older sisters. Dog pile! My sixth birthday (I think, I can't count how many candles are on the cake). Katie

Hi Katie, OMG, you mean there are two more like you? Nah, it's nice to see you and everyone who has contributed to this thread. Here are two early ones of me... Believe it or not, I can remember that book! And here are a couple of school pictures. I'm guessing the first one is aged about 7 or 8. I was in colour by 10! Nothing's changed. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up! Roger

Roger believe it or not there are actually three more like me. I also have a younger sister.
Marianne, I am not the youngest so I guess I am not spoiled. But, really, my little sister isn't spoiled either.

Hi guys, All this is very nice but please try to be selective when quoting from previous posts - I'm sure it isn't always necessary to quote the entire previous post including the photo too! Duplication, triplication.. quadruplication? Cheers, Dave Hi Dave, I have heeded your kind advice !! But now people might get tired of my postings without pics. !!! And I love to respond though !! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWhat a dilemma !! Love, Marianne
