Bonjour all -- I’m back! I’m so sorry for leaving for this long, but I didn’t expect to have been so busy. Tons of schoolwork and some personal problems have kept me off HWI for quite a while. But now that summer’s finally here, I’ll probably have a lot more time to spend on the Internet. I look forward to resuming my posting here, getting caught up on all the Hayley news I’ve missed, and talking with all of you again!  Sorry again for leaving for so long. I can’t wait to get back into ‘the family’ (which includes not only this forum, but also the Writers and Artists, Crystal and Tashi, and Pure Talent forums as well). Oksy xx PS. I’ve heard from Roger that some forum members were wondering how I was. I thank you for your concern, and I’m honoured to be part of an online community where we are not just pixels on a screen, but real friends. I have thought of all of you many times also!  |

Aww, thanks Roger, Richard, Steve, Allen, and Raymond (did I miss anybody?) ! I'll try to get a video of the fireworks tonight, and hopefully I'll share a little piece of the celebrations with you all! I hear they're going to use 3000 shells, so it should be awesome -- unless it rains! Oksy x |

Hi Oksana,
It should be a good night for fireworks. Although I'm not Canadian, Canada is very close to my heart. My fireworks will be on July 4th. I went up to Parliament Hill about eight years ago but Parliament's Centre Block was being refurbished. I do remember the Peace Tower carillion bells though.
