I just rode my bike for four miles. Anyone else exercise? ****************************************** I tipped the scales at 12 stone 9lb yesterday I was always a skinny runt growing up but I have really been putting on weight over the last couple of years. Once you leave school I guess the amount of exercise you do goes down. I'll tell you how much I weigh this time next week! I'll ride and eat properly everyday Nicola

Wow! Good luck Nicola!! My sister walks 2 miles almost every day, and works out lots! I'm the lazy one I'll admit, lol. But taking some inspiration from you, I'll try and work out this week! Hugs, Tashi

Hi Nic, Also the body's metabolism starts to slow down...I've really noticed it when I hit 30 I used to weigh 13 stone but I've been doing some keep fit excercises and walking during my coffee morning and lunch breaks at work. Plus I've cut back on fizzy drinks and crisps. Now I'm down to around 11 stone 4. It's a good thing I'm an anglophile and I know what I'm saying... So...on your bike, Nic ! Please remember not to overdo it! Joe

Hello Nicola, Tashi and Joe! I'm slightly overweight, but it's not my fault. I blame Colonel Sanders! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm off to the Southend Airshow this afternoon, so instead of catching the train, I'm going to fly there! Best Wishes, Richard

Hey all, Like I said I would I'll report my weight! I'm now 12 stone 6lb. I didn't get on my bike as often this week as I would have liked and I had to go out for a few three course meals which would have slowed me down. I rode to my work and back today to see how long it would take. My work place is 6 miles away. It only took 35 minutes, which is much quicker than getting two buses that I usually do. I'll do that from now on I would seem I rode on my bike for 12 miles today! That's a feat and I'm not that tired. I'm getting a little better each day. x

Good for you, Nic. Do you feel better for it? Trouble is, the next time I see you, I won't recognise you! Best wishes, Roger
