Hi All,
Its that time of year when many students young and mature are either revising or sitting exams, it is a stressful time and I would like to take this opportunity to say I hope they go well for you all. The sooner they are over, the sooner we will see you back here on the forum. Very Best WishesSteve H Hi Steve, That certainly applies to me! Thank you very much indeed for your thoughtfulness! I was actually trying to forget about my exams I'm feeling a bit guilty now, so I guess I should be getting my books out... Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew, you are welcome! How soon are your exams comming up? Steve H Hi Steve, My first exam is for "Criminal Law", which will be on Wednesday (24th May). I have a "Consumer Law" exam on Friday. Next week I have 3 more- the last exam being "Taxation Law" on Saturday 3rd June (10.30am-12.35pm) I can't believe that one-that's the same day as I'm taking a short holiday to the Isle of Arran! The only exams I have ever sat in my life before on a Saturday have been piano exams! (my piano playing is a little rusty now!) i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThanks again for your interest (and "helping shove" to get me off the Forum!!!) Regards, Andrew

Thank you Steve H for a very thoughtful message to many of our members to which I would like to add my own best wishes.
Andrew: Little more than an hour ago, you implied you were about to get your study books out. Since then you have replied twice to this thread! I know this forum is addictive but really! ;)Nevertheless, congratulations on your maestroship!

Congatulations Andrew. I had my eye on the numbers and noticed on the home stretch we were juxtaposing only just one or two ahead and then running parallel! I'm still in junior school so, CONGRATULATIONS OLD MAN! Peter

Hi Roger, Dave, Steve and Peter, I'm allowing myself a quick (but potentially dangerous) tea break away from the study books to say thank you for all your good wishes and encouragement to me for reaching my "Maestro" milestone of 500 posts! Indeed this Forum is extemely addictive and great fun It's great to meet such a fantastic bunch of people who all share a common (or should I say "cultured"? ) interest in Hayley's music and in supporting and promoting her career! The show must go on!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Andrew

Be up there with you shortly, Maestro, SIR! You are obviously reading law to practise, I was reading only for research and thought I'd do a degree at the same time part-time. I never complered the course because I got elected into local goverment which, ironically, was why I had started reading law--interpretation of and implementation of legislation. As maths was never my strong point, although I'm still good at adding up a column of figures in my head, the idea of reading tax`law, let alone facing an exam in it boggles my mind completely! All the best--when ever you get to read this! Peter

Don't let it get to you Staggy. Chill and take it cool and calm and you'll be okay. 'Been there, done that' comes over you far too quickly. You have probably never ever heard of George Burns, an American stand up comic. A line of his is so very true. 'I'm not at all surprisedI'm 84, but what does surprise me is the speed with which I got here!' Grab every moment of your life Staggy, even the 'pain in butt' exam time. All too soon you will be looking back at this moment hardly discernible in the mists of your life's history! Good Luck. Peter
