and why shouldn't she? Caite's a princess and a true friend, even if she doesn't wear a crown.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Joe. They bring back really good memories for me of when I use to live in Southern New Jersey. In particular, I love the picture of the seagull.

Hi Joe! Thanks for sharing your pictures. I too like the seagull on the post. Though the picture of the sand dunes makes me miss Michigan! No palm trees in Michigan though. haha Looks like you had a good time. <3 Caite

i know some of you have had lovely little birds and cute creatures in your back yard but on the 7th September a bunch of these guys climbed over my side fence as i was Vacuuming my shell we say Hayley Room Museum i looked up and saw them and boy did i get a fright, one came closer to my window i thought i hope this is the police armed defenders squad cos these guys got guns, the guy gestured that i go back further in the house. I was not gonna follow them i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif,in the end they were after the neighbour and when we looked out the back window they had guns aimed at him and he had his hands behind his head, we never did hear why they were there they did not even knock on the door and say everythings ok,so im left wondering who lives over the fence as they have only been there a few weeks.and we have never met them, belinda

Hi Joe they actually climbed over the fence the other side of the house i looked up through a large glass door and could not really believe my eyes, and they were a lot closer to me then that one is there was about 3 or 4 along the back fence some either side of the guys house and round the back i guess, in nz the police don't usually carry guns if theres trouble they call these guys.
Time will tell i guess,
Belinda

Hi Belinda, Actually, I don't believe it was anything to do with the neighbour. The clue is to the right of the picture where a red t-shirt is seen hanging on the washing line. The marksman is aiming right at it. You see, HWI does not approve of anything other than the official HWI sweatshirt and therefore we had to deal with the matter accordingly. Roger

Something similar happened outside our house a little while ago. It took five police officers to restrain this woman. And this was only because she had worn the wrong kind of flip-flops to attend Toast NZ. When she was eventually put into the Black Maria her husband rugby tackled the officer who locked the door. It took ten officers to restrain him. Neither wife nor husband were afraid of the police with automatic weapons who were standing stage left in this picture. And we thought that we lived in a quiet village.

Thank you Steve, Stuart, Andrew, Caite, Joe and everybody else for the great pictures. I was on holiday for a little more than a week in the south of Germany at Lake Constance. It takes a while to read all the post I've missed. I'll edit my pictures after my London tour next weekend. Hi Belinda and Drew! You have a really entertaining neibourhood. It seems you live in a quite interesting place. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThomas

Yikes, it seems as though life has gotten exciting for Belinda and Drew. Hopefully, that is the end of the story for Belinda. I haven't really experienced anything like that on my tranquil college campus. I don't have pictures from this, but when I was in New York City when I was in high school a huge protest (the protest was about the police shooting a man that didn’t speak English that didn’t have a gun) was going on. It never got violent. At the time it was a bit scary because the sidewalks were literally a sea of people (plus we didn’t know if it would turn violent at the time, the police were carrying around crow bars and face masks.) On a funny note, the police certainly lived up to the doughnuts and coffee stereotype. There were at least 10 police officers on every corner enjoying these.
