This is an International family forum dedicated primarily to the discussion and promotion of Hayley Westenra's music and related matters. There is an "Off Topic" board for the discussion of unrelated matters but even there, we find it necessary to implement a limit on what are acceptable subjects for discussion.
Messages that are considered seriously off-topic, even in the Off Topic board, are usually of a contentious nature unrelated to music and often, they are about political, religious or historical matters where opinions are polarized and/or where some forum members are likely to be offended or embarrassed.
Such messages tend to provoke heated discussion and on more than one occasion, we have seen threads like that flare up into unacceptable personal arguments between members. Before posting a message like that, please take a few moments to think about it - and if in doubt, do not post it.
We hope that there will be no further problems of this kind but if necessary, members will be asked to amend their posts and in urgent cases or after repeated reminders, forum staff will delete part or all of the unsuitable messages.
