I've just realised what this title is. No mention of 'Hayley' but by implication. Therefore, am I being too mischievous to say we could include (as it usually means meeting Hayley) how many of us HWIers have met one another? I've met--oh gosh, suppose I leave anyone out? Andrew (Scotland) Belinda (NZ) Bridget (Denis' wife) Where are you two, looking in but not posting? Caite(USA) Dave David Denis Drew Eiizabeth Gerald Westenra Gordon Grant HAYLEY WESTENRA--I think that's why we are all here, isn't it? Lothar(Germany) Mark Martin MJ. Richard Roger Steve Abbott Steve Hayter Stuart Hayter Thomas(Germany) =23 so far now who else? Peter S.

In 54 on this you have immediately reminded me of three i had missed out! Thanks. Obviously, too, I missed the point--it was intended as I had thought I had pushed it! Peter S.

Hi Andrew, Indeed, I have met Jill many times, and also Sophie and Isaac on several occasions, but the original question asks which forum members we have met. Sadly, and for reasons that currently escape me, none of them ever registered. Roger Aaah! That 'forum' bit ain't in the Topic title! Hence the confusion! Peter S.

Well I resurected it, so I suppose I'd better contribute to it!! That makes 22 ( 23 if I include myself ) ... Now that makes me think that this is not just a Forum, it's a family!! Best wishes Grant Yes, I thought of including myself. I meet myself quite often in the mirror and the great thing is I usually manage to recognise myself, which at times can be very reassuring! I've only met three HWI members... fusilier timj classicgrace ...on one memorable evening in October 2005.
I've chatted with well over two dozen HWI'ers over at Belinda's chat room. But that's in the States! What's that, 20 times bigger than this country? I reckon that's a pretty good showing. Peter S.

This has now passed the point of no return--I cannot alter the post any more--that means 100 posts between my last post yesterday and midday today, not that that is the cause but wow! What a posting. The reason is obvious--HAYLEY'S BACK IN TOWN, or the country (UK) at least! I left off Keith whom I first met following an exchange of emails in June 2005 at ... St James in Picaddilly (my first and only meeting with Gerald) and then again in Liverpool which was my first meeting with Jill. So total to date 24. Not that I think our intention here is a contest, but does that make me the highest number of meets so far...? I'll send then check the posts again and will correct if I'm wrong. OF COURSE I AM WRONG. I thought at the time of writing--hence my check on the whole thread--that I must be wrong. Surely Roger has experienced the most meets and of course he has with 34 at the time he last posted here. Probably increased by one or two since. Peter S.

So that other members are not misinformed, there is no connection between your being unable to edit your post and the number of posts since it was made. Modifying ones own posts is limited to 24 hours regardless of the level of activity during that period. Roger

It would be nice to meet some of the people on here, but I'm not sure if they would wont to meet me. You must be thinking of Marx--not the one who wrote Das Capita--the one who said he'd never join a club that would have him as a member! Don't worry Jon. As long as you are happy to be here we are happy to have you here. Peter S.

I am happy to be here Peter. Even though I do cause a fuss for the Admin sometimes.
