Hello to all HWI fans! I've noticed that there are only 56 of us registered here at Hayley's message board, while another classical crossover artist out there (Josh Groban) happens to have a message board which boasts over 14,000 registered users. Well... I'm a member of both boards (Hayley's and Josh's), and so I've posted a message on Josh's board to try (as best I could) to "lure" Groban's fans over here to Hayley's message board, too! If you want to see the message which I posted to the Josh Groban message board (within their OTHER TOPICS section of that board), then you can copy and paste the following URL into your web browser, or utilise the hyperlink which I've attempted to insert below: p071.ezboard.com/fjoshgrobanfrm2.showMessage?topicID=8454.topicBTW, in the above-mentioned post which I placed on Josh's board, I pasted a hyperlink which those users can click on, to bring them directly over HERE, to Proboard's HWI homepage. I also managed to give them a hyperlink to the MP3 file of Hayley singing a very short audio clip of TIME TO SAY GOODBYE! I sincerely hope that this endeavor adds a few more fans for Hayley! Hey... once they hear her angelic voice, how can they resist!!!

What a nice thought Susan, the more people who hear about Hayley and also HWI, the better! Hayley's had quite a few positive mentions recently on Andrea Bocelli's board too, so the word is spreadng I wonder how many Grobanites realise Hayley recorded that clip of "Time to say Goodbye" in the year 2000 when she was only 12 years old? The album it's taken from, "Walking in the Air", was released on a private label later that year when she was age 13. How I wish i could get hold of a full copy of that album!

Hi Susan,
Thank you for doing that. I and all the others who form the team of HWI would be delighted to see some of our friends from the JG board join us here as well.
And, in my opinion at least, a duet or two with Josh would go down very well for Hayley. The effect is quite astounding when she sings with a baritone, and Josh's voice has a fantastic, full and well rounded tone to it. What a brilliant pairing that would be.
Keith.

I appreciate your comments. Actually, by pure coincidence, it so happens that late last night (before I even saw your message over here), I posted another link to Hayley's rendition of "Time to Say Goodbye" within a different topic section of the JG message board, for all the Grobanites to see. In that later message, I **did** say that Hayley recorded that song four years ago, in the year 2000. However, I erroneously went on to tell them that she was only 13 years old when she recorded it. I had assumed that was the case, since I knew that she is now 17. But, I shall have to go back there and CORRECT what I wrote. Thanks so much for pointing out that she recorded the track when she was ONLY 12!!! (I guess that it was done BEFORE her birthday that year!) When you said "How I wish i could get hold of a full copy of that album!" -- Those are MY sentiments, exactly! <<SIGH>> Ya! I really wish I could get hold of a copy of that album! Or, if only... if only Hayley could re-record that song on a subsequent album! For example, she did re-record the song "Walking in the Air" for her self-titled CD. Hey... I would EVEN settle for a brand-new SINGLE release of Con Te Partiro, even if it were the only track on the disc! (Hayley, dear, do you read your message board here? Hint... Hint...)

I quite agree with what you have said. Josh's baritone DOES have a deliciously full and well-rounded tone to it, and I am convinced that it would be a brilliant pairing of two of the finest voices on our planet. I recall quite vividly the astounding effect of Hayley singing "All I Ask Of You" (from Phantom of the Opera) on her self-titled CD, together with Shaun Dixon. Their two voices blending together was awesome. How much MORE awesome might it be if Hayley were to record that same song with Josh!!! You may or may not know this... but, when Josh Groban got his initial "start" to singing professionally (he was still in high school at the time), his mentor David Foster booked him as entertainment for the inauguration party of then-Governor Gray Davis of California. At that event, Josh Groban sang "All I Ask Of You," and it overwhelmingly brought the house down. Josh himself has never recorded that song on any audio track, nor has he performed it in public since that occasion, to the best of my knowledge. But, all I keep thinking is how much more power, and how much of a wider range Josh's now-23-year-old voice contains, compared to his then-adolescent voice. Hayley's own voice, too, has matured far beyond what it was when she first recorded that track with Shaun Dixon! It gives me complete GOOSEBUMPS when I consider how "All I Ask Of You" would sound, were Josh and Hayley to sing it together, in duet!!!
