FINAL 6 PERFORM LOVE SONGS TUESDAY 8/7c
We’re down to only 6 finalists. Who’s got the talent to stay in the competition and who’s going to be the next contestant sent home? Find out Tuesday, when the finalists will be working with the legendary Andrea Bocelli and will be performing classic love songs. Then, on Wednesday, come back for the results and a special performance by Andrea!
Anyone able to tape American Idol on Wednesday?

Anyone able to tape American Idol on Wednesday? <3 Caite Hi Caite, Thanks for the heads up. I'll give that a try, have to time record it since I'll be in vegas for most of the week. Got to find out when and which channel is American Idol on first  Lots of interesting programmes on TV next week so hopefully my computer doesn't run out of HD space... each hour of video takes up about 10GB with the current setting I'm using  BTW, I finally got around to edit and encode the Amore desert sky special, will have it uploaded soon. Hi Allen,
If you do succeed in recording it, you'll presumably be uploading it to my server? Please don't be alarmed if in that case I won't publish them immediately, as I am of globetrotting in coming weeks (Finaland first, and then Australia). I will take apporpriate action though in that case after my return from Australia.

Hi Gerrit, Hope you're having fun in Australia and enjoying the sun! I just came back from Las Vegas last night and looks like I goofed up on the time record settings for Wednesday's american idol show. Apparently it's not on at the same time as Tuesday's show. Since I went to see Celine Dion's show that night., didn't get to watch it at the hotel either  Andrea did appear on Tuesday's show with David Foster "coaching" the contestants but it wasn't particularly pleasing to watch so I won't post that unless some of you wants to see that part of the show. I'm downloading a video of the performance right now, which should finish in couple of hours. Will convert it to wmv and upload it to Gerrit's ftp. Allen |

Hi Allen. I'm not sure I understood your post. Is the performance you are uploading the wednesday performance by Bocelli? I hope so, it absolutely shook me to the core it was so good.  I did'nt record it myself, as I did'nt know he was on until it was too late. If you do get it posted I hope everyone here will give it a listen. Amazing. |

Hi All, I am busy updating various websites - I will updat the Andrea Bocelli video page soon too - with Allen's material, but also with a concert from Las vegas, which will be broadcast on Dutch TV today. Also, on ITV3 on Monday, an hour long special Sacred Arias will be broadcast at 10:35 PM. Hopefully I will be able to present coverage of that as well Gerrit |

Hi Gerrit, I just watched the Las Vegas video again, seems like there was a bit of audio problem in a number of scenes The show will be broadcasted on Seattle PBS in early June and hopefully I'll be able to record it properly this time around. Sorry about this. Allen |
