Media previews/reviews and fan reviews/photos of Il Divo's first concert in London (Wembley Arena, on 11th April, (preferably those mentioning Hayley!) should be posted in this thread, together with any follow-up comments.
Please stay on topic to this concert; off topic matters should be discussed in a more suitable thread or board.
I must be a glutton for punishment, because I've just looked through all 27 pages of the thread for this concert on the Il Divo forum, and found the following interesting snippets about Hayley.
Then we took our seats and waited -----!!!! Hayley was really good, she has a fantastic voice. Just a shame really that more people weren't seated for her performance. She got a good reception from those who were. ( lots of them DIvas I'm sure!!)
PS Did Hayley Westerna get announced? I didn't hear anything but suddenly she was there
No, she just suddenly appeared from the side of the stage and started singng. Perhaps that explains why a lot of people missed her starting her set.
What a lovely talented young lady she is, absolutely delightful. She sang five songs altogether. She did not appear on the screens like the guys did which was unfortunate and our enjoyment of her performance was somewhat marred by the appearance of late and late late comers who filtered in throughout her entire performance as they had probably got held up with traffic and parking problems and the security staff trying to find them their seats had to keep them standing in front of us whilst this took place.
We handed a birthday card in for her as she was 19 on Monday but dont know if she got any other presents and did not see her leave which was a shame. She could hold a show and has done in her own right. She is definately worth seeing so please give her a chance. It cannot be very nice up there knowing that nearly the whole audience is there just to see the guys.
Hayley Westenra was fantastic too - it's just a shame more people weren't there to see her, as I know people were still filtering in to the arena during her set. And kudos to her for the brilliant a capella version of Amazing Grace.
Have to agree with you on Amazing Graze.... gave me shivers, and that wasnt from the cold! she has a lovely voice.
Well what can I add that hasn't already been said before - David, Sebastien, Urs and Carlos you were absolutely fantastic - you did us proud guys!! Just wanted to mention Hayley as well - she has such a beautiful voice.

Hayley was great, such a sweet pure voice. Just a shame she wasn't properly introduced. Nobody even realised she was on stage until part way through her first song.
