Hi Roger, Richard, Ray, Stuart, George & Steve! Many thanks for your encouragement re: my Concert Review and photos. May I reassure you that it was a real pleasure to produce these! (As you know!) Witnessing Hayley's performance and then meeting her afterwards was a dream come true for me! Hayley has such a lovely manner- a really beautiful person who inspires us all beyond belief! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifShe is a real credit to her family, the music business (and to us!) May we all continue to support her in her great work! Regards, Andrew

Well, sounds like Hayley gave a great performance as always. I am very impressed with the sash. Lots of folks have gone the extra mile to give Hayley something nice to remember this or that show by or to say thank you to her, but to have a tartan specifically created and registered in her honor takes the cake, I must say, although by saying that I am not looking to start a competition between fans looking to outdo each other.
So, will this tartan be otherwise available, just out of curiosity? It might be a nice touch if her next group of supporters in a cold-weather venue could all wear scarves in her colors to support her.

Hi Andrew,
I wanted to say this last night but I spared everyone's embarrassment. I will say it now.
You have, without doubt done HWI proud. I have just read your last post to Simon on the phone and we are both so touched by your highly original idea and your thoughtfulness that we are both currently close to tears.
Many thanks,
Roger and Simon.

Hello Andrew-
That was such a lovely idea and gift! The concert sounded wonderful and the pictures are great. I will definately be on the look out for the "Tartan Thread" Don't you mean I have registered the tartan to be made available for exclusive use by all "Westenra" clan members? =P

Roger,
Many thanks for your kind words...
The 'HWI' camaraderie wouldn't have been possible without you and Simon so there! We're all in this together "the Good Ship Hayley shall sail forever"... and we will seek to find as many ways as possible to show our love and support to Hayley, her family and one another...
Above all things, I have a strong faith in and love for our Creator God who has provided for all our needs.
Regards,
Andrew

Hehe, I dunno about forever, Andrew, but certainly as long as Hayley is willing, and I'll certainly be there so long as she is to support her.
God bless your generosity.

Hi All, Here is a media review of the 'Il Divo' Concert from 6th April 2006 at the Glasgow Clyde Auditorium, as submitted by "Auds" from the 'Il Divo' Forum. This review seems somewhat late, but here it is... Apparently this was included within today's issue of 'The Mail on Sunday' Newspaper Magazine. It's very difficult to read, but I can't see any reference to Hayley in it. I've requested Auds to either scan the article again, or to type it out (I know it was rather cheeky of me!) A prize will be awarded for anyone who can transcribe all the text accurately. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif (I've tried enlarging it, but it's still v. difficult to read!) Regards, Andrew

Andrew Hello Andrew and I think you're right, I see no reference to Hayley in it. Which is just as well as the tone is plain to see from how it starts: Headline: Classical Crooners Il Divo were cheesier than a fridge full of brie last week... and stank just as much... and went on to start as follows: This gig was so mind-numbingly shallow that...After filtering enlarging and still straining my eye for a mention of Hayley, thank goodness i didn't find one! I don't think we need spend any more time on this; well I won't anyway - but thanks for posting it! Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, Thanks very much for casting your "bionic eye" over the article... Rather a nasty review by the sounds of it! (The reviewer was probably jealous because his girlfriend was more interested in the Band than in him! ) A picture of 'Gucci' glasses frames in the post to you as a prize! Maybe you'd prefer some Brie cheese instead? If I post it via second class post, it should be "well off" by the time you get it! Regards, Andrew

And what, pray tell, is so wrong with Russell Watson? Some of these guys can't resist getting their digs in.

Hi Richard. Oh Dear. Your latest heavy criticism of Il Divo echoes my sentiments the moment I heard she was touring with them last year BUT I kept mum Hayley had made her decision and this was NOT the time for those wishing to support her to give her wobblies. She appears to have had fun. That's what life is about and in that she enters whole-heartedly and if she is happy, I'm happy for her. She cannot have everything her way and what seems to be the overall outcome is that she has gained a lot of exposure, learned a lot more and has had the advantage of being carried by someone else's administration, which has allowed her to concentrate on her own diversions separately from them. This report brings to a head that question we are all pondering. What follows the only date (Gawesworth Hall) in August? Peter

And what, pray tell, is so wrong with Russell Watson? Some of these guys can't resist getting their digs in. That is a good point fusillier to which I have drawn attention in the past--the angst of the writer and his purpose in writing. I missed the point in my first response to Richard's news that the writer trained as an opera singer--obviously didn't make the grade? Hence the angst? Peter
