Media previews/reviews and fan reviews/photos of Il Divo's second of two concerts in Dublin, Ireland (preferably those mentioning Hayley!), should be posted in this thread, together with any follow-up comments.
Please stay on topic to this concert; off topic matters should be discussed in a more suitable thread or board.
[Edit by Roger - 24th Mar] *I have now received confirmation from Gerald that Hayley WILL be participating in this concert*

Reports from the two Dublin concerts are so far few and far between but now, Hayley has three brief mentions so far, in the Il Divo forum. All nice, so far! Interesting comment from Cate - we now have much to discover about this leg of the tour! Dave

There simply can't be a more distracted audience for a headliner than Il Divo's. From what I've read on their forum, many are drinking before the concert and preparing things to toss onstage. This "Divo-mania", as it's sometimes called, shows no sign of taming down any time soon.
I wonder what performing insights Hayley has gained from sandwiching a solo mini-tour inside the Il Divo mega tour. She went from rapturous receptions in Worcester and Florida to audiences that didn't fully appreciate her talent. She's the center of attention one week and just a warm-up act the next. Perhaps it's safe to say she's looking at life from both sides now.

...Perhaps it's safe to say she's looking at life from both sides now. Maybe she is, Steve. It will be interesting to compare the audience reaction in the UK to that in the US. It could be very different because, as we know, the water is wide. ....Well, you started it! Roger

Returning to the UK after several weeks in North America could be quite an odyssey for Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI notice Il Divo aren't playing a concert in Scarborough, which doesn't seem fair! Next! Richard

Right! When Hayley returned to perform in the UK, it not only could be an odyssey but it WAS an Odyssey. The Odyssey Arena in fact, in Belfast! Cheers, Dave

Hi!
Both Steve and Roger make very serious observations.
I think Steve, that if Hayley has experienced some luke-warm audience response she will use it to her benefit. It will do her no harm to suffer something close to (BUT NOT actually) 'ignominy'. For that soul-searching hurt she must surely feel will help to strengthen the resolve to understand her audience expectation, or to better clarify to whom she does or does not appeal and perhaps come to understand why.
She herself has described her tour as a 'roller-coaster' ride, Perhaps this is what she means. To experience downs now is no bad thing for the future. It will help to strengthen her resolve, hone her audience and strengthen her for any storms that may cross her path in the future.
I suspect, however, that she is of far stronger stuff than one might think. She's slight of frame, sweet of nature and delightfully winsome. But underneath I think there is strong character and a steely determination.
To be buffeted a bit when ups follow fairly quickly should prove a good character-strengthening experience.

It's so interesting to see what Il divo fans have to say about Hayley. I mean all constructive comments do help!
Thanks for posting the comments and the pictures. Hayley looks stunning as usual and love her dress. She always looks fantastic in shades of green.
Love, Jenny

Roger Of course Hayley is tough underneath it all,she is a New Zealander and believe me they can take the knocks and just brush them off and continue on. Thats why the All Blacks rugby team are so good,Like Hayley, there tough. Thats what makes a kiwi taking the rough with the smooth, Rodders

I had heard of Hayley at this time but only found out Hayley was on the day after the concert from a waiter I know, He was at the concert but did not even bother to enter the auditorium while Hayley was on.. He just wanted to see Il Divo...... He stayed at the bar with most of his mates until Il Divo came on stage. Bah ! I could have used his ticket to see Hayley and left at the break and given him back his ticket so he could see his Il Divo. and maybe there might have been a few more pictures in this thread
