We have a discrepancy regarding Hayley in Dublin with Il Divo:

No mention of Dublin whatsoever on Hayley's own official site.
What to believe?

Hi Steve, All I can say is, Steve Abbott told us to "go with the details on the IL DIVO site" (apart from the Australian leg). Both Dublin dates appear there. I can only hope they are correct but, should there be any doubt, we always advise that people check with the venue. Roger |

So in other words the discrepancy between the two sites remains.
If Hayley is indeed performing in Dublin it's a shame her own official website -- which her earnings are undoubtedly paying for -- is not serving her by letting her Irish fans know she'll be performing there.
On the other hand, it's a blessing her dedicated fan site, HWI, is running the Dublin information and have had it confirmed by her manager Steve Abbot.
Of course, in a perfect world Hayley's fans would always have accurate info about her concerts, especially in they're looking on her own official site which she's underwriting.

...and if Emmett and Claire see it here and their schedules permit, hopefully they can see and meet Hayley, I know Hayley would like to see Claire, she said as much.
As for a perfect world, well, in a perfect world the Twin Towers would still be standing.

Of course, in a perfect world there would be no need for the twin towers to bend in the first place!

Okay, but before any more is said, I would request that we remain sensitive if discussing this topic. I think I am right in saying that a member of this forum would normally have been in one of the towers on 9/11. Mercifully, he was not. As we all know, others were not so fortunate.

In a perfect world Hayley would be on the cover of People Magazine, Time Magazine, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Hello!, Q, Mojo and US Weekly -- all at the same time.
I say we should email Claire ASAP for the heads-up if she needs it. I'm sure she knows her way around "The Point" and could find the appropriate stage door to land a photo-op. A nice pic of Claire and Hayley together would be priceless.

In answer to Steve's original question, yes, Hayley WILL be in Dublin for both concerts. She's also singing on an Irish TV show called The Tubridy Show on Saturday night (this weekend).

A photo of Hayley and Claire together would be almost too much beauty for any server to hold. And BTW, I was supposed to go to the WTC that fateful day to do a document inspection. Mercifully I got a last minute call to go somewhere else. A few folks I knew were not so lucky. I told both Hayley and her dad this when I was complimenting Hayley for posing with a NY fireman for me, and both were quite sympathetic.
Ah well, fingers crossed that Hayley and Claire do in fact meet this time out, it's been a long time in coming.
