Media previews/reviews and fan reviews of Il Divo's concert in San Francisco, California (Davies Symphony Hall) on 26 February 2006 (normally those mentioning Hayley) should be posted in this thread, together with any follow-up comments.
Please stay on topic to this concert.
This is the final concert in the North American leg of Il Divo's World Tour. Hayley will not be taking part in the next "Il Divo" leg (in Australia) but will instead be doing her own headlining tour of North America - see the main "Hayley in Concert" board for details.
Hayley will rejoin Il Divo in Dublin, Ireland on March 24th for the rest of their World Tour (Ireland, UK and Continental Europe).

From Il Divo's forum:
shy soprano - Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2006 8:07 am Haley is good, and a nice fit as a warm up act for Il Divo. She's got a good voice and knows what to do with it.
That's the only comment about Hayley so far, but there will probably be more.
Interestingly, some Il Divo fans complained about how unecessarily loud it all was. Davies Hall has great acoustics and a little volume goes a long way but apparently they cranked it up to deafening levels.

Hi Everybody,
another one from from the Il Divo forum:-
Sunshine Diva, Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2006 8:47 am
"Can't say that I'm a fan of Haley. She has a pretty voice, but I just didn't sense any kind of audience connection with her. Maybe that will come in time. But for the love of doughnuts, someone get the poor girl out of that horrible sequined top thing. Yeesh. I was practically seeing stars by the time she left the stage. The funny thing I noticed is that if you looked around the Hall, the walls were shimmering from all those sequins!!! Maybe it's just the church girl in me, but I wanted to run up there and shake her when she was singing Amazing Grace and yell "WOULD YOU GET INTO IT, PLEASE!!!!
When she said something about her last song, I did a sort of arm pump in jubilation and the Fairy Godmother gave me a poke"
Not a very complementary post, but I guess each to their own, I think it best to post the good and the not so good comments, by far the majority so far have been positive.

Many lovely things have been said about Hayley by Il Divo fans, but it comes as no surprise that a few negative remarks are popping up, too. Some of this catty stuff could be rooted in defensiveness. After all, more than a few critics have labeled Il Divo's success a "craze", regardless of whatever talent they may have. Contrastingly, Hayley's career is anything but the result of hype. She's the real deal, especially when you consider that pop mogul Simon Cowell had no part to play in getting her launched.
