Oh yes, I have watched it but please don't ask me how many times. I can't count that high! I know I am biased where Hayley is concerned but I truly believe it is the loveliest DVD ever made. The songs, Hayley's performance and all the extras make it the best £15 I have ever spent. I might just have to play it again tonight! Roger

I am paying the price for being the owner of this forum, plus co-owner of Hayley Westenra International. This means I don't get a lot of time to sit down and watch the DVD. But I wouldn't have it any other way. As Roger says, I think this is the best DVD ever made. I was astounded when I first watched it. Knowing Hayley so well, I am always amazed at how she just keeps improving on perfection. If it was an Olympic sport, she would win the gold medal by a mile. Aria is fabulous. Across The Universe of Time with Sophie is amazing. But, the one that really made my jaw hit the ground was Down To The River. That was mindblowingly beautiful. Yet again, Hayley shows that she can take other types of music, and do covers of very famous pieces, and turn out the very best version I have ever heard. I am really becoming very impatient waiting for Odyssey. So, I will have to make the time and put the DVD on again. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifKeith.

Oh no, you haven't! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI never skip around the tracks as you do, Cathleen, but I sometimes alternate between seeing the concert one night and all the extras another. Forgive me if I have told this story elsewhere but it is particularly relevant here.... Hayley once promised me that the DVD would be worth waiting for (then she giggled!). That was before the recording was made. I already had high expectations but her promise made me wonder if I was expecting too much. When it was eventually released, I was absolutely blown away by it and I knew she had fulfilled and exceeded her promise. Roger

As a matter of fact, I just watched the DVD this evening. I probably watched it around 4 times. But each time, I see something different. The only time I skip around is to watch a song twice!

Hello everybody! I've lost count of the number of times I've watched Hayley's DVD, but I look at it once or twice a week. I sometimes skip around watching little bits, but usually I watch the full concert and the documentaries. I still think the DVD is the best thing I've ever seen on TV! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBye for now, Richard

Hi all, I just watched the DVD twice today...due to the fact that it is ONE YEAR since I bought it! What a fabulous concert and an equally remarkable production.

As this thread was started only 14 or so weeks after release of Hayley's DVD, I thought it might be fun to resurrect it to see if anyone wants to update their viewing figures!
I've had my copy since 13th April 2005 and for the first 12 months or so, I must have watched it at least once a week. More recently perhaps once every couple of weeks.
I enjoy everything about the DVD but mainly watch the concert although I particularly love "I Dreamed A Dream" from the Russell Watson concert, I just wish the editors had used all of it because Hayley receives a Bouquet on Russell's DVD.
Anyway, I digress, but I guess I must have watched the concert at least 50/60 times and I never tire of it.

Hi Grant, I bought Hayley's 'Live from NZ' DVD just after it was released and have lost count of the number of times I've watched it! I've shown it to my parents, sister, brother-in-law and my little nephew and niece too! Sometimes I just play the DVD on my laptop PC when I just want to relax. When I feel in need of a little boost I often play 'Down to the River' a few times. Hayley's performance of that song with the Elim Gospel Choir is just fantastic! Regards, Andrew

I watched the DVD about 5 times the day that I bought it, but since then, I've watched it maybe 4 or 5. Like Fusilier, I don't want to get jaded with it, because I love it so much. I still consider it to be her best work. My parents and I have watched the whole thing through over the summer. It was an amazing experience to share with them. Oksy

Hi everyone
I have owned the DVD for around 12 months and like alot of you, I have lost count of the number of times I have watched it. I also love everything about it but am limiting myself to watching it when I feel I can really concentrate on it and when I think I have earned a treat !!
I wish that I had been at that concert !
Best wishes Mark.

Like everyone else I too have lost track of the number of times I have watched the DVD. Recently, instead of watching the whole thing at once, I watch one or two songs in between the rest of my packed schedule.
