Hey Guys, just to let you Haley made a couple of firsts when she performed for the Dalai Lama in ireland. She became the first soprano to do so The first Soprano to record Danny Boy The first person to get two standing ovations in Derry The first person to sing to Native songs from different countries The first Soprano to sing in the Millennium Forum, Derry so she achieved quite alot. Wow, wish I was there. She was in Derry? Wish I knew. Thanks for report. Would love to see videos if there are any.
Hayley is all rounded. Does more things than most. Love the way she sings many culture songs. Thats sometimes har to do for some artisits and Hayley has sang so many liek Maroi, Irish, Englis folk, Scottish etc... (water is wide, Mists of Islay, Se Moves Through The Fair, Pokarekare Ana etc..)
She can definitly bring people together with her songs and her presence.

Hi Lawrence,
Thank you for the information. Two standing ovations? That doesn't surprise me too much but it is still good to hear. Very well-done!
Best wishes, Stephany

Hi Folks.
I regret to inform you our beloved singer songwriter Christie Hennessey mentioned in this thread has died.
From Tralee in County Kerry, Christie lived, worked and sang in London in the seventies and wrote songs for many singers.
Successful in the nineties in Ireland with several good albums he will be missed on the Irish Music scene.
