I just noticed a little something while re-reading the article. of The Studio about the possibility of singing before the Dalai Lama when he came to the Children in Crossfire conference and readily agreed.
Guess what? Lawrence Doherty is the photographer who took the pictures posted above i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee his website www.thestudioni.comStephany

Hi all thank you for your kind comments. Just to elaborate a little. Haley performed Pokerakara Ana in a private reception for the Dalai Lama and the leading politicians of Ireland North and South and she received a well deserved standing ovation, she then went down to the main conference and performed Pokarekara Ana again and then totally stunned the Audience with her version of "Danny Boy", she had a tremendous applause before she had even completed the first word "Danny". By the end of this song the majority of the 1550 capacity audience were in tears. She then received another standing ovation that apart from near lifting the roof off the building, seemed would never end, the Dalai Lama said " Everyone love Haley, she is wonderful, a real treasure." As for me I consider it a real honour and privilege to have been able to present Haley to the Dalai Lama and the audience as the worlds number 1 Soprano, where each and everyone off them felt that hearing this Lady sing they had truly witnessed something and someone really special.......The website is an old version we are currently building a new one but there are better pics on our myspace site...... myspace.com/thestudiophotography Many thanks to you all and best wishes Slan Lawrence Doherty

Hi Lawrence and a very warm welcome to the forum from me too.
Thank you so much for your report. It was a great pleasure to read and your comments brought tears to my eyes. As Belinda has already mentioned, Hayley is very special to us all here and we love her very much. To know that she has been so well received is always good to here.
I hope you will find time to explore; there is a tremendous amount of information about Hayley and I look forward to your future posts.
Best wishes Grant
