Hi guys! I was watching a Hayley video from 2003/4, and I noticed something in it was strikingly similar to this video of Sophie: Oksy

Hi Oksy I don't think we have come across each other before on the forum - therefore - Hi ! What a brilliant observation you have made. It certainly looks like the same dress and I guess Sophie has just grown into it !! Why not, I guess most sisters share clothes when they are just a few years apart in age. Best wishes Mark.

Hi Oksy and Mark Well spotted, I saw the pictures but didn't notice the obvious!! Sharing dresses shows that Hayley and Sophie are no different from any other girls when it comes to sharing clothes. Good for them!! Grant

Despite what seemed to be some nerves, Sophie did very well . ... Thanks, Gerrit and Belinda for sharing this with us and, Belinda, don't forget Natasha and Crystal are coming your way soon Your quite right, an excellent performace despite the nerves at the start, but I thought a simply wonderful finish. Very different from Hayley, but still a very remarkable singer, and also the twinge of Hayley's influence can be heard in her voice more so at the end. I hope the Pop World embraces her with open arms after singing all these years! Well done Sophie and keep it up! We know only you can rival your big sister! Let's have some friendly competition! heehee

An excellent example of the simple family love and ties that they all share, by sharing good clothes passed down through the family! I know my sister had some of my cast off t-shirts, jogging troushers, etc... and I had some of my dad's cast-off's! What an excellent observation! How on earth did you ever come to realise the connection through the thousand other photos and films we are acquaited here with at HWI?

Wow... I just came across this... Sophie really has a beautiful voice. You could tell that she wasn't 100% feeling well but she had *real* gumption to go up there and get it done anyways - thats really admirable! Sophie's accent seems different from Hayley's too. It sounds more New Zealandish to me i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI really enjoyed the Violin piece as well... nicely done!

I agree, they're both very talented. It will be interesting to see how Sophie's voice will mature in the years to come.
