Drat...I was an hour into downloading Sophie's video when I was cut off...I only had 15 minutes to go. I SO hate dial-up! I'll try again tomorrow...at least I have the clip of Sophie, aged 5, singing 'Tomorrow' to tide me over . It's only a day away... Good night all, Joe

Hi Joe,
If you continue to have trouble downloading, I can probably help there. I have a programme called "Splitter" which is only 58Kb in size, but it is really excellent. It will split the video down into small parts and I can email them to you, along with the programme. All you do is rejoin them again and away you go. It'll have to wait a couple of days though. I'm off out in half an hour and will not be back until Wednesday night.
Cheers, Keith.

After listening to it again it sounds a little like Sophie had a cold. Or is that part of her expressions?? Sorry if it was, lol. I can be dense sometimes, LOL. I stand by what I said before though, lovely job either way! Even more admirable if she had a cold - just hope she didn't and if she did that she gets better! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes to Sophie!! Natasha

Wow, what a great job Sophie did!! I can hear Hayley in her voice a little bit. Ben Morrison's playing is so beautiful. The song is "Gira Con Me" which is apparently from his debut album, which I wish I had now. That song was made famous by Josh Groban. Thanks for those details . I now also know why it sounded familiar. I have Josh Groban's album but I hadn't played it for quite a while, so I couldn't place it! I always like to be able to put the correct title to a piece. I thought I heard her cough or clear her throat several times while she was singing, especially in the middle. But that may have been someone from the audience.

Hi all, Finally I was able to view this incredible performance by Sophie. Special thanks to Belinda and Gerrit for another amazing video. What a sensational performance! She did seem a bit nervous at the start but improved soon after. Her voice has matured so much since I last heard her sing. Sophie's so graceful on stage. Her expressions are so lovely. True, it will be difficult perhaps for Sophie to compare herself to big sis but Sophie has a special magic all her own. Oh, thanks Keith for your help. Hope your trip with Taylor and her mum went well. Too bad about your car...hope you were able to a hire a huge luxury car! Take care, Joe

A huge thank you to Belinda for taping Sophie (and bringing it to the UK!). I must admit I was hugely disappointed that I couldn't be there to see her sing. Actually, Sophie was simply relieved that she could perform as she had no voice the week before due to her being unwell. Yes it's true she was nervous, but the reason behind this is that she wasn't sure how her voice would hold out. ....and many thanks team for setting up the video on this fantastic site. Great to see you all in Piccadilly supporting the UNICEF concert!!

Well, a big hello there, Gerald, it's Steven, who you might remember from the NJPAC. Another gem from your most precious collection is headed for full luster. Hope to catch you in 4 weeks in Allentown.

Hi Gerald, I just watched Sophie's performance and I think it was fantastic especially considering the fact that she had just recovered her voice. One shouldn't compare Sophie with Hayley . Sophie is Sophie and Hayley is Hayley. Both have exceptional voices, though Hayley's has already exceeded perfection with ODYSSEY having redefined the term :eek2: . I hope so badly that Sophie will pursue her own musical career. Double the beauty, double the magic! Has she already recorded an album? If yes, when can we expect it to be released? :rollin By the way, I would like to extend to you a big welcome to our humble forum. It's exciting to have a member of Hayley's innermost circle with us. And it was nice to see you again in London, too, having met already in Duisburg, Germany, in July. Please continue feeding us with information from the Westenra realm. We are definitely looking forward to your future posts! Kindest regards, Holger Germany

Hello Mr Westenra, My name is Joe and I live in the USA (in the state of Pennsylvania). It's brilliant that you took time out of your hectic schedule to join us. All three of your children are truly wonderful. They are a delight to us all. Hayley's golden voice is angelic...I can still recall the first time I heard it. I'm so excited about Odyssey's launch next month...I just received my press kit in the post. Sophie has a lovely voice; the clip that Belida provided has shown me how much her voice and stage presence has improved; young Isaac I trust is keeping up with his stage performances. I do hope I meet you on 22nd October; when Hayley will be performing in the town of Easton, PA. I shall be wearing my blue HWI sweatshirt...yes, even there you can't get away from us lot! Please give my regards to your wife, Jill, and your entire family...who have given my life such joy these several years. May God keep you safe on your travels. Warmest regards, Joe Sukenick

Hi Gerald,
I as unaware that Sophie had been unwell prior to her appearance. Good for her for getting through it. Despite her health, there have been some very favourable comments here.
It is a real priviledge for us to see you here, Gerald. Please look in whenever you can.
All the best, Roger

Hello Gerald, and welcome to the Forum! I thought Sophie's performance on the video was amazing, especially if she'd been unwell. I met her at Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre in July, and she is as delightful as Hayley. You have a wonderful family that you can be really proud of. It was great chatting to you at last in St. James's Church, and I hope to see you again soon. Best Wishes to you and all your family, Richard

Hi Gerald,
Thank you for taking the time to join our small but growing family. It is a real honour to have you among us.
Sophie is showing that she has a real and potent talent, and a direction all of her own. Many of us are waiting eagerly for the day when we can be proud owners of her first album - however long that takes.
In the two years since I first met you, it has been a great privilege to get to know all of your amazing family, and to watch as Hayley has developed into a truly international star. Now, we stand on the verge as Sophie prepares to do the same thing.
We once said that we live in exciting times. Well, they are about to become even more exciting.
And what better way of experiencing them than with wonderful people like yourselves.
Hope you come back whenever you can and keep us up to date on things that are happening your end.
Best wishes, Keith.

Hello Gerald! Thanks for joining our community -- it's wonderful to hear from you! I'm glad Sophie will be releasing a demo disc -- but I'm impatient for an international CD! I think the major difference between Sophie's and Hayley's voices is that Sophie's is more earthy while Hayley's is really airy and ethereal. Combining them and recording a duet would certainly be nice! ~Someone
