Congratulations Stuart! You've given us some fantastic coverage of two very interesting events in one day. Now we must add gardening to Hayley's seemingly endless list of talents! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt's interesting to see the way Hayley uses the spade. It would appear that she is really left-handed, although she writes with her right hand. Best Wishes, Richard Yes Richard, you're quite right, she's quite left handed. I'm right handed & have used a spade pretty often. It is extremely awkward to switch handings....you'd only do it if space dictated it. Maybe tho she's truly ambidextrous......I worked with a guy once who was....graeme

Hello Graeme! Hayley may well be ambidextrous. As well as writing, she also plays the guitar right-handed, as she did in 'American Dreams'. Best Wishes from London, Richard

That's great that Hayley took the time to visit the School again- that must be SO exciting for your pupils Stuart! -Elizabeth

Well done Elizabeth! I don't think it would be appropriate to crack open a bottle in Stuart's school, so I've found a more suitable way of saying... Best Wishes, Richard

To add to the confusion Hayley also holds the mircophone in her left hand. Put us out of our misery Roger!! Martin Hi Martin, As far as I know, Hayley is basically right-handed. Yes, she does invariably hold the microphone in her left, but that may be because she likes to keep her dominant hand free to make visual expressions by holding it out while she is singing. At the precise moment when the photograph was taken of her holding a spade, she may well have moved it over to her left hand because of the child to her right. I wasn't paying attention when she was actually digging, so I'll probably get detention from the headmaster now! Roger

Hi Stuart, The first of those two pictures don't necessarily prove anything but the last two indicate that she is at least equally comfortable left-handed. I expect someone will ask her one day. Meanwhile, I suspect this discussion was just a ploy to see a few more pictures! I'm glad it worked! Roger
