Many of you may have heard that Nicola Benedetti's new 'Vaughan Williams/ Tavener' CD was released last Monday - 24th Sept.
You can actually view an excellent video of Nicola performing a rendition of 'The Lark Ascending' (Vaughan Williams) in 'HMV' Princes Street, Edinburgh - here (this video requires 'QuickTime' to be installed on your PC).

Benedetti plays to audience of 50 at HMV store
Violinist Nicola Benedetti yesterday performed a piece from her new album in a Scottish music store to the delight of watching music fans.
She played Vaughan Williams's The Lark Ascending to about 50 people at HMV in Princes Street, Edinburgh.
The musician said: "I think I've changed a lot since my first album. I was only 17 when it was first released.
"It was a very new experience for me to record back then, and the repertoire has also changed a lot since the first album, but also in how I perform, and practice and develop things all the time."
The 20-year-old Ayrshire-born musician shot to fame when she won the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2004.
Among the fans who turned out to see her was John Owens,
41, from Edinburgh. He said: "It is fantastic to see her.
"I had not seen her live before and it was great to watch so close up, compared to a concert.
"I like all violin music and it is just an amazing instrument when it is played well."
Marjory Thwaites, 80, said: "I really enjoyed the music.
"I wanted to be here to get a signed CD for my daughter who was unable to attend the recent concert in Glasgow, so hopefully this will make up for her disappointment."
