Congratulations from me too, Roger, for 2,000 posts. With my not yet 500 posts it makes me feel I'm still in short trousers--oh, its those shorts and legs again!
And I've forgotten to mention art comes into the picture too, I really must find time for that post script to what Hayley means to me!

Hi Steve, Many thanks for your acknowledgement! We all have our "work cut out" for seeking new ways to promote Hayley on this Forum- Perhaps even more so as "promo buddies"!!! Regards, Andrew

Whilst one is wearing shorts, one has to make more of a conscious effort to keep pulling up one's socks!!! Are you wearing a matching pair of socks? We'd better try to stay on topic from now on... I'm not sure our shorts and socks will help to promote Nicola's new Album! Regards, Andrew

Thank you very much Andrew, Steve and Peter. It was always a pleasure to be involved with this forum from the day I joined and it was a privilege to be invited to the dizzy heights of Administrator, a role which I might have undertaken with some trepidation had it not been for the invaluable support from Dave, Simon and all the moderators.
Thank you all.
Roger

Socks with short trousers, Richard? My dear fellow. Bare feet in leather sandals--true hippy style!
And before you ask, the weed is in the garden only! Peter

I'm not sure how this thread managed to turn into a congratulations thread but with apologies to ardent Nicola fans, I think we'll just leave it here; this may not be at all a bad thing. Anyway, a big "well done lad!" to Roger from me too. With one more post, it will be 2006 posts reached in the year 2006 and thence, onwards and upwards to the next millennium! But watch out behind you Roger, you are being chased by a couple of snapping terriers! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Andrew, thank you for the scans from June's Classic FM and also of the CD booklet! I'll want to stop in at my local Borders books for this issue of Classic FM as well as that magazine called Dirty Linen w/ The Cottars on the cover. I do hope Nicky's new disc is as popular as the first. Oh, what else do I see >> Roger has reached the 2,000 post plateau! Congratulations ! I'd like to very quickly say how much I appreciate all you have done here. Your devotion in supporting Hayley is outstanding! I reckon there should be something for you in Her Majesty's Birthday Honours List!

Congratulations Sir Roger! Thank you for all you do on this and many other forums. To get back on topic, you can celebrate 2,000 posts by listening to Nicola's new album! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Nicola has entered the UK pop album chart at number 84, the classical artist chart at number 4 and the official Scottish pop album chart at... wait for it... number 20! It would appear that the Scots are as passionate about their musicians as the Welsh! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDave

She would have done even better if there was a local store that had it in stock. I gave up looking today and ordered it from amazon. Roger

But of course and that again will be the reason Hayley didn't make the Brits Award. The Welsh will have rallied round even if they weren't fans of Kathryn. It will have been a matter of national impetus higlighting further how well Hayley actually did. Peter
