Hi Joe, If you want, I can try and record the performance from TV. According to the website, it should be broadcasted on Radio Canada International (radio station??) which I doubt I have. But, I'll check and see if it's being shown on other TV stations such as CBC or RDI. I'll probably be out celebrating Canada Day at the local annual Jazz Festival that day  Regards, Allen |

Hi Joe, Looks like this is the only show being broadcasted on CBC today: News Special: Canada Day On Parliament Hill
Live from Parliament Hill Canada will celebrate its 139th birthday anchored by Peter Mansbridge and Heather Hiscox. Prime Minister Stephen Harper will give a short interview on his first Canada Day as Prime Minister. Also the traditional fly past by the Snowbirds, and a message from the troops in Afghanistan. Young achievers in Canadian sports will be highlighted and performances by Colin James, Jesse Cook, Samba Squad and others. (Live Full Network)
Saturday, July 1, 2006, 9:00 a.m. PST Since Aselin will be featured in the evening show, I'm not sure whether it's the one. There is some CFL Canada Day special on tv this evening. Happy Canada Day to all! |

Hi Allen,
I'm surprised that CBC would rather air CFL (Canadian Football League) than the Parliament Hill celebrations...which are rockin' and rollin'...Oksana and I are watching it from a webcam.
I hope Aselin is part of the celebrations!

Hi Joe, I have good news for you! Just went through the entire recording from the Canada Day celebration broadcast on CBC and Aselin was the first performer of the day. She did a medley of "Home", "Life" and some other song. Let me know if you want a SVCD mpg of the (~6mins) performance  Happy July 4th to you! Allen |

I really enjoy this SVCD from Allen! Some comments:
Aselin was joined on-stage by singer Annie Villeneuve and guitarist Kyle Riabko.
1. Michael Buble's "Home" (duet of Aselin and Annie)
2. Aselin sings "Life" from her CD "Bigger Than Me"
3. "What Did I Get Myself Into" Kyle singing and playing guitar
4. "Tomber a l'eau" by Annie
5. "Home" reprise
