There's some interesting facts I learned about Fiona. Such as Fiona crediting Colm Wilkinson's Opera Ghost in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" as being her first inspiration to sing. Fiona reportedly paid a visit to Yoko Ono's "John Lennon Forever Museum" in Japan when on a Cottars tour. I know that Fiona MacGillivray did visit the Lennon Museum in Japan a few years ago. Here's a photo of Fiona at the same piano that John Lennon composed "Imagine" !  |

Fiona (foreground) appearing in a 1999 episode of "Pit Pony". Behind her is Ellen Page (just nominated for an Oscar award for her role on the movie Juno).  "Pit Pony" was a drama on Canadian TV, set around the turn of the last century. It revolved around the life and struggle of a coal-mining family. An excellent production. |
