The Cottar's first CD, 'Made In Cape Breton' arrived this week. It is astonishing to hear how accomplished they were at such a young age. Nevertheless, their advancement since then is also apparent (as I already have their second CD).
I will listen to it several more times over the next few days and comment further in due course.

Glad that you CD arrived at last, Roger! Even in their early teens, the group certainly were talented. 'Scarlet Ribbons' , a duet w/ John Mc Dermott and Fiona, is phenomenal, as well as 'Ballinderry'. The Cottars' second CD is a showcase of even bigger talent (Fiona having learnt the harp).
Don't forget, Roger, that their third CD is only 2 months away!
