Hi all, Today, Katherine's fourth album, Serenade, was released. And personally I think it is once again a better album than "Living A Dream". My personal opinion is that each of Katherine's albums up till now has been better than the previous one. In connection with the release of Serenade, Katherine has had a very high profile on British radio and TV. If you haven't visited www.katherine-jenkins-international.com/ for a while but are interested in watching video and listening to audio, there have been 9 new video and audio clips since the beginning of November, 5 of which were uploaded just today to this page: www.katherine-jenkins-international.com/clips/O06a/clips2006.htmGerrit

I saw Katherine on GMTV yesterday morning. Not that an appearence was needed for me to buy her album as I had it per-order I haven't finished listening to the album yet and it only arrived thirty minutes ago. I have never been overwhelmed by Katherine's albums since they all seem a bit "safe" which annoys me. The Bryan Adam's cover is beautiful, but predictable and just an echo of her last album. I won't say much at this point as I have only reached Pachelbel's Canon (which is beautiful, by the way). What I will say is 'Chason Boheme' is the biggest risk she has taken to date and I must admit, she took me aback. An excellent performance. I have to get myself to Uni so I will comment more later on.

I got my first taste of Katherine's music last night, listening to "Serenade." I think it is a fine album.
I like "Green Green Grass Of Home" partly for sentimental reasons because of the song itself, not necessarily because of Katherine's rendition. I would normally say the same of Pachelbel's "Canon", except that in the case of "Canon" Katherine truly has crafted a gorgeous song. I find "Ave Maria" to be exceptional, to say the least. Same for "The Flower Duet". Anyone who remembers Bryan Adams "I Do It For You" when it was first released will also probably remember how overplayed it was, but I must admit I have fallen in love with the song all over again here thanks to Katherine. I'll be looking for more of her CDs.

Good for you Scott. I have only ever liked a few songs from each of her albums (in the case of 'Living A Dream', none! She has a beautiful voice, I just can't help but wish that she would take some time with an album, and make something truly magical.
