Hi All,
As I am writing this, it won't be long before Katherine touches down Down Under. She'll be spending a week there, promoting Living A Dream. There will be numerous TV and radio appearances, as well as interviews in the written press.
Sounds as if I made my trip to Australia two weeks too soon, or should have stayed there for an extra fortnight.
Anyway, I am alerting a number of contacts Down Under about this!

Gerrit Yes, I do think it is in our 'support Hayley' interests to keep tabs on this young lady and see how NZ in particular respond to her. i assume she is including NZ? Belinda, can you keep a wary eye out for us, please? By the by, Gerrit, 2 weeks seems extraordinarily short for Australia alone (even NZ alone) especially with the flight times. How much did you see, apart from meeting perhaps one koala and a kanagoo? Peter

Hi Peter, I would have stayd Down Under for longer - but I also had committed myself to a trip to Finland at about the same time (meeting Hayley and Saara) there. Plus, I haven't got unlimited travel time (nor unlimited finances), so I had to cut short both my trip to Finland as well as my trip Down Under . Never mind, I worked for 18 years in Australia, and saw plenty of kangaroos and koalas then. I now even have got my relatives in Perth to be on the lookout for TV appearances, and Jenny (Australian correspondent for this forum, is also on the lookout. I doubt though that Katherine will be visiting NZ - she hasn't indicated she would in recent posts at her official forum. Gerrit

Gerrit You are well excused then, obviously.I had forgotten (I believe I read it in an earlier post some while back and forgot you had lived there) and as for Finlandia following on, of course you have your priorities right! Hayley Saara and Sibelius! Peter.

Hi everyone, Just 6 hours ago, Katherine was featured in an hour long radio special on Radio 2CH, Sydney. I did record the show in its entirety. Cutting out advertisements, it would be about 52 minutes. However, this was very much a show in which playing music came first and interviews were second. 10 tracks of Living A Dream were played in full (if you count two tracks played as background against interview sections, 12). I didn't think it was right to post a clip that contained full versions of no less than 10 songs of her CD - especially not as the Internet broadcast from Australia was of excellent quality. So I decided to only put on the beginning and the end of each song, and include the interview sections in full. When playing the clip, you'll be confronted with a few sudden changes in the clips therefore - on average I have included about 1 minute per song. The 4 parts of the interview totalled about 9 minutes, and there was about 1 minute of Radio 2 CH announcements, so the entire clip is about 21 minutes. www.katherine-jenkins-international.com/clips/O06oz/ninoclockspecial060606.mp3 Gerrit
