I like the track listing apart from Amazing Grace. I'm getting really fed up with that song.
But I really look forward to Nessun Dorma and Music of the Night.

Amazing Grace is better than alot of the songs that you find now a days. I heard the hold thing of one find day and it is very good and she did it in engish like she did song to the moon in engish.

Hi all, I saw Katherine in Port Lympne last night and she sung songs from this new album, so I thought I would tell you how these new songs sound. First of all, what an amazing night! It was Katherine, Keedie and G4 (who arrived on a helicopter *groan*). I went for Keedie, but she only sung 4 songs, G4 six and Katherine about 12. They said it was Katherine and friends, but seriously, G4 drew the biggest crowd to the front and sent teeny boppers screaming. I guess that is what they get for being main stream Katherine, from her new album, sung: 1. Ti Amero Per Sempre (I Will Always Love You) 2. I Vow To Thee My Country 3. One Fine Day (Un Bel Di) 5. Nessun Dorma 9. Amazing Grace 13. Over The Rainbow 16. We'll Meet Again She sang more, but they were from other albums or misc 1. I Will Always Love You: she introduced saying that she is the first person that Dolly Parton has let sing the song in a foriegn language. The rendition was beautiful. Wholly recognisable - and that melody with a full orchestra - wow, I can't wait for everyone to hear it. 2. I Vow To Thee My Country: Nothing of note here except she wanted to everyone to sing along. I'm not a fan of the song. Just noticed she sang it well. 3. One Fine Day (Un Bel Di): She sings this is English, like Keedie had done before previously. This is my favourite aria and she did it justice, but I prefer it in Italian. 5. Nessun Dorma: NO NO NO. NOT AGAIN! Seriously everyone. We heard this song 4 times at the festival. A 12 year old sung it first, then Katherine later on - straight after Katherine had finished singing it she introduced G4 who sung it as soon as they got on stage (yes we heard it twice in a row) then, at the very end when everyone was begging Katherine for an encore and she had no more songs to give, so she sang it yet again. Ok, anyway, that's besides the point isn't it? Katherine introduced saying she is one of the first women to record it (Sarah Brightman had done it before her) and then she sung. She seemed somewhat strained at the end. She couldnt hold that end note for long at all. Maybe she went wrong, or maybe that's the way she always sings it. It was a weak rendition to be honest. I was shocked to find that I thought Sarah sung it better. 9. Amazing Grace: I'm against this song because absolutely every artist does it, and at the time I was too busy trying to get photos of her (I was hanging over the stage railings) I will post them later on when they are uploaded on the computer, got some really nice ones. She said it is special to her as she sung it at Live 8. She sung it well. 13. Over The Rainbow: Another overdone song, but nevermind, she looked as if she meant every word (did I mention what a fine performer she is?). She sung this well with conviction, might be a song I listen to on the album. 16. We'll Meet Again: The old war song she sung at the V.E Concert in London earlier this year. You can tell she loves to perform this. It was her finale (though she did Nessun Dorma again afterwards). She does this song such justice and she is really enjoying herself. She likes to get the crowd to sing with her. Notice, how it is the finale on her album also Well, there is my take on some of the news songs she has done. Hope it was useful. Sorry about the narrative of the concert, I'm still on a high.

Thanks for that report! "Nessun Doma" was Russell Watson's big hit and lots of other tenors as well. I'm yet to hear either Sarah or Katherine perform it. To be honest, I wasn't really crazy about this song, lol.
I loved your narrative! Keep them up!
Hugs, Natasha

Hi Nicola, Many thanks for the report from Port Lympne and also thanks for the great photos. Tell your Mum they're brilliant . I would'nt have thought that the teeny bopper crowd would have been into G4. At least they are doing well unlike most of the others from Pop Idol / X-Factor, that usually disappear into oblivion.
