Anyone know if there's any difference between La Diva and her other release Second Nature? I paid $30 for Second Nature a while ago, and I heard recently that another CD La Diva was being released here in the states. I looked at the track listing and it's pretty much the same minus a few songs, but it's only $12.99! *sigh* On her official site, however, it doesn't mention La Diva at all -- www.katherinejenkins.co.ukAlso, what's everyone's favorite track on Second Nature/La Diva (assuming they're the same), I love her version of "Seguidilla," really beautiful song and she does it justice times 10. "Time To Say Goodbye" is amazing, too, and she really shows off her powerful voice.

La Diva has 3 less songs. If you go to the home page of Katherine Jenkins International you can compare the song lists. www.katherine-jenkins-international.com/I bought Second Nature when it first came out and, unless your a collector,l don't see any reason to buy La Diva. I am from the USA, by the way. The bad part is that 2 of my favorite songs were left off La Diva. Why would they short change the US release when the full version is so attainable on the interner? I need a handbook on how to run a music company .

I adore Katherine's "Second Nature" album, and cannot imagine why Universal/Decca would ever want to produce a version which short-changed the original by three songs! I fervently *hope* that they will NEVER pull this same "stunt" when they release future Hayley Westenra albums. Which brings me to another point... As of yet I have not purchased the album "Amore Musica" by Russell Watson. I actually wanted to buy the import from the UK, but found it to be significantly more costly than Katherine's. Now, I just recently heard that this latest album by Russell is slated to be released during the month of June, 2005 here in the US. I am waiting to see whether or not the Decca music company will be doing the same thing to "Amore Musica" that they just did to "La Diva" -- cutting songs from the US version? I truly hope NOT! I guess we'll just have to wait and see... Whatever do record companies hope to gain by doing such a thing?

Well, perhaps part of the solution is that quite possibly Internet sales are very low compared with over the counter sales. My guess is the the proportion of people in the USA that are acquainted with Katherine's Second Nature as well as with La Diva is very small. Point of course remains they could just as well have taken the entire Second Nature album and renamed it La Diva .... Although perhaps a song like "O Holy Night " might pe perceived slightly out of season ... Gerrit
