Hi folks,

In the space of a couple of days, I have another new Yahoo group for you. This one is rather special. A number of you will know of Holly Holyoake, a young soprano from South Wales with a fabulous voice. You will have seen her name on various lists, mainly mentioned by Gareth, who has been in regular close contact with Holly and her mother, Trixie for quite some time now.

She recorded an album entitled “When Dreams Have Wings” when she was 14. It was decided to concentrate on her education until she had taken her exams. Well, she is now 16 and about to sit them. Shortly thereafter, I am expecting Holly to start doing more musically. For anyone who does not know of Holly yet, you are really missing out on another great talent from Wales.

Anyway, I have established this new group in honour of Holly and to celeb*ate her music. I would love to see as many of you as possible join the group and really get to know this wonderful you lady and her singing. So, here is the address:

I think Holly deserves all the support she can get. She has a voice of extraordianary power and range. I have had the pleasure and privilige of meeting her and her parents recently, and was offered the opportunity to attend one of her singing lessons. She was absolutely sensational - I felt myself wanting to listen to her doing just scales in a concert hall.

Holly has an exceptionally high reach - and she is one of the loveliest persons you could ever wish to meet.

You may have seen the video clips of Holly duetting with Hayley at Cardiff and Llandudno last year, and now it looks as though her singing career is about to take off, with offers of recording contracts from several labels.

It will be good to see this talented young lady step out on to the world stage. I have been listening to her original CD for almost 2 years and anticipate a more mature version of that lovely young voice. The bits and pieces we have heard including that wonderful appearance with Hayley wits your appetite for more. Holly's high sporano with mezzo Katherine Jenkins could make for some great Welch duets .

Just make sure you get what you deserve out of one of those record companies Holly.

Holly is a wonderful singer She is wicked kind and she sent me a CD which she signed. I am most certainly a fan of hers It will be interesting to see where her career leads her.
