I was almost put off the song though, after hearing Hyacinth Bucket sing it once! Hi Jon! It's not Bucket, it's Bouquet (couldn't resist ) I love Hayley's version...it reminds me of those huge steam paddleboats! Thanks Richard for the link to Shenandoah Valley!

Hi Joe,
I really hope one day, if Hayley does a different arrangement of 'Shenandoah' the flute interlude from the Bryn version is included. It would suit Hayley's voice down to the ground.

Hi all, 1. I think the beginning of the video looks real 3-dimentional like the Video of "Pokarekare Ana"
2. Why Hayley used in both videos the same location???

I can now follow on with my concern about the way Hayley pronounces Shenandoah. This clearly American young lady even emphasises Hayley's proniounciation more than she does www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwbQsFJVw2A&feature=related. As I suspected, I reckon Hayley has done some in-depth research and picked up a regional accent and has chosen to use it for two reasons: it is different; she had justification. Well done Hayley. Also from the Michael Ball Show thread: Peter, I don't hear a "G" when Hayley sings Shenandoah, at least I've never noticed.

A video clip for Shenandoah is also on iClassics available here: www.iclassics.com/hearItFirstHome The first clip listed (Hayley Westenra - Celtic Treasure) is One Fine Day, and the second one (Hayley Westenra) is Shenandoah! Can't wait to hear and see it in full! This is odd. The clip doesnt seem to be there anymore (which I expected). However, unless I missed it somehow, the artists page doesnt list Hayley at all - it goes from Wang to Whiticre. A search on her name turns up a very limited sampling
