Seems I should have looked closer on Wal-mart's website. The regular US release is on it. Still doesn't explain what happened with the special edition.
Roger I am going to have to check my CD collection. I could have sworn I got Mummer's Dance off of a UK CD, but then again who knows.

Katie:
Sounds like I found the same lonesome copy of Odyssey that you've been finding. And we've been equally mischievous with our relocation projects.
So if Target doesn’t carry Hayley CD’s, why are they reviewing it on their website? Another online exclusive? If so, I think it’s a mistake. Both Walmart and Target had tons of CW, Bocelli and Il Divo CDs in their stores. In fact there were enough Il Divo CDs at Walmart to provide coasters for a large dinner party. If there is supposed to be something particularly tantalizing about offering Hayley’s album only as an exclusive web purchase, I fail to see it. And I used to do this for a living.

Hi Katie, If you have 'The Mummer's Dance' on a UK version of Pure, you have something incredibly rare. I have the UK original and special editions and it isn't on either of them. Arguably, this song has broken a record. It is on certain versions of Pure, the Japanese edition of Odyssey, and is now available for download on Treasure! Roger

Roger I just went rummaging through my CDs to find that that one is in storage at my sister's house (I just moved to the suburbs of Chicago and haven't moved all of my stuff yet). I am sure I am just remembering wrong, as I have both versions of the CD.

Hi all,
I got my "Celtic Treasure" at Borders. I rang them early in the day and had two reserved in my name. Yes, they do have a large poster of Hayley and a display rack in the middle of the store. Also, the store layout was completely done over, so I hard a hard time finding Hayley in the general racks; plus their listening stations are gone. Also check out the magazine section in Borders...they have the ClassicFM magazine!
There was a large label on the cellophane wrapper on the CD, See Hayley On tour With Celtic Woman
I've never depended on WalMart or Target to get my Hayley CD's. 99.5% of the music I buy are non-US releases and Best Buy will stock the harder-to-find music.
I was pleasantly surprised to see "Summer Fly" was produced by Natalie MacMaster and her husband Donnell Leahy. Someone from my forum saw Natalie's performance last weekend; Brad Davidge, Mac Morin, Matt MacIsaac are in Natalie's band.
I'll have another listen...but right now my fav is a tie between Sonny and Summer Fly.

Happy to report that I have found some US promotion of Celtic Treasure. And where did I find it....right here on this forum. An advertisement came up in the Google Ads at the top of the page. It advertised Celtic Treasure and included a link to HayleyWestenra.com. Because of the link I am assuming this advertisement is from Decca. Now I am just hoping it is coming up on more websites than this one.

My copy of "Celtic Treasure" dropped through my letter box 2 minutes ago. There is a sticker on the cellophane wrapper stating:- "The new CD celebrating Hayley's celtic roots includes 'Last Rose of Summer' with Celtic Woman See Hayley on tour with Celtic Woman" The New York Times quotes "The Voice of an Angel" yet again!! Grrrrrr Grant

Did it look anything like this one, Joe? The above image was taken and supplied by James Esquivel, HWI's West Coast Correspondent. It was taken in his local Borders in California a couple of days ago. If it is similarly displayed in Borders stores throughout the States, it should do rather well! Roger

I also get my copy of Celtic Treasure today! I didn't order it online. I found it in a small CD shop. Actually, before I went there, I knew that they sell many imported CDs. But I don't expect that they will have it so soon. It is only released on Monday. It is only Wednesday now! I am very happy. I have just listened to the whole CD twice. I love every songs. The price is also reasonable too. It is only HK$145. (US$18.56, GBP 9.6, Euro 14.06, AUD $23.6, NZD $26.7.) Raymond

Raymond, That sounds very good value for an import and it is amazing that you have found it so soon after the release. You could be the first person in HK to hear it! Roger

Hi everyone!
I had luck at both Wal-Mart and Target. While they didn't have huge displays or anything I found Celtic Treasure easily enough on the "New Releases" rack. I've always had luck finding Hayley at Wal-Mart, and I to my knowledge this is the first time any of Hayley's CD's or DVD's have been sold at Target.
Also at Wal-Mart there were only three copies of the CD left on the shelf after I bought mine. Is that encouraging? Or is that them not stocking the shelves with too many?
I'm not sure about the big CD stores in my area, but I will look when I can.

I'm glad you got your CD, Caite! Enjoy it! Did the Walmart version have a bonus track?

Oooh yes, sorry I forgot to mention the bonus track! It did have Mummer's Dance on it.
I remember someone mentioning in this thread if any of the songs would be different version like Wuthering Heights was, and the answer is no as far as I can tell.
I must say, I really miss some of the tracks that aren't on Celtic Treasure. I thought they brought so much balance to the CD. Ah well.
