Hello Rodders! When 'Treasure' is released you will have some new songs to learn. I've heard the Singing Nun and the Singing Postman, so now I can't wait to hear the Singing Bus Driver! Here's an idea. Can you stick a few posters advertising Hayley's 'Treasure' on your bus, or better still, hide a copy under one of the seats and organise a Treasure Hunt? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThis thread is really about the UK version, so are there any bus drivers in the UK reading this? Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Richard and everyone,
Advertising on the busses here in NZ is not a silly idea. Yulia is advertising her new CD on the busses here and as far as I know in other parts of NZ as well.By all accounts it is apparently a very cost effective way of advertising. It appears to be working for Yulia, why not Hayley??
cheers
Rodders

I thought there was Hayley, then there was the NZ entertainment industry as a whole trailing somewhat behind! Peter S.

Does Hayley need advertising in NZ? Peter S. Hi Peter, Arguably, Hayley doesn't need advertising in NZ but it might help to promote the UK version of the CD there, especially if it is released before their own version. How about a leaflet drop? There are only 4 million people, after all. We have at least three NZ members so it shouldn't be a problem! Roger

...an interesting question. Is there a duet on 'Treasure', and if so, with whom? As if to answer your question Richard, here's a surprise! Amazon UK have just put up the Treasure UK tracklisting and look at track 2: 2. Le Notte Del Silenzio - Featuring Humphrey BerneySo it's apparently a duet - Humphrey is a 26 years old Tenor and here is his official website. I wonder if he's recently acquired a Universal record contract? There are some clips on his website... I'm off to have a listen. Cheers, Dave PS Oh, he's very good! Full tracks are available.

Very interesting indeed. They are obviously using Hayley to help launch him. Fascinating. She will be happy to do so in return for the greats who have introduced her to their world and it is a clear statement of her stature amongst the professionals who make the major decisions that she is respected as having that status. She introduced The Choir boys, Katherine Jenkins, All Angels and others. He will be saying for some time in his publicity that he once sang with Hayley Westenra! Yes, it is a pleasant voice of solid competence but he needs to establish his credentials yet to be called 'top class', in my very humble view. I suppose, in terms of actual psition, that isn't a humble opinion at all! "You have a unique voice. Not only can you put the entire school choir out of tune but the chapel organ as well" was one music master's opinion of my singing! Peter S.

Or perhaps just keeping quiet! May be that's why I write so much! Seriously, I would love to sing so I understand why Hayley is so happy. Could I sing it would be a rich baritone and dance as well... but I have two left feet and absolutely no sense of rhythm! Peter S. PS: Perhsaps it was that my flats were sharp and my sharps were flat--rather like some of my jokes!

Kia Ora, I'm very sorry about my long time of absence - but now I'm back again. Many thanks for the interesting information about Hayley's new Album "Treasure".
Kind regards, Lothar

Hi Thomas, hi Lothar,
even though living in Germany myself, I'd go for amazon.co.uk as the price (including shipping) is about the same and you probably get it faster as amazon.de has to get it from England as well.
Regards, Holger
