Hi Umbobo It's not as difficult as you may think to meet Hayley. The following thread tells many of our stories and it's well worth reading Meeting HayleyAlso, have a look at the concert threads and read some of the reviews and reports. I'm sure your turn will come! Best wishes Grant

Hi i've been reading the treads on this fourm and i looking at some of the avatars and ive noticed that some of you have actually meet hayley in person, and i was wondering how it was that you accomplished that? Because she is extraordinarily patient and considerate. She is not always in control of the after event facilities, depending upon who is promoting, but if she can and she knows fans are at the 'stage-door' she will see them and is quite prepared to sign programmes, CDs etc. If you ask her and you have a camera to hand she'll pose for you. You can look at my report at 2007 Llangollen. Simply, there were two young kiwis living in Birmingham who asked me if I would use their camera. One was a little shy and didn't wish to presume upon too close a proximity to her. She just grabbed him round the waist and yanked him in towards her. Then, with an arm round each young man's waist she looked at the camera. Only then did she realise who was holdoing it. 'Oh Peter! You're here!' 'Hi Hayley'. That is Hayley and don't worry about being tongued-tied and feeling foolish... we all are and do the first few times. It's us, our admiration for her that causes that, not her. Peter S.

Well, it is really easy if you go to her concert. Anyway I wish I could one day too.

Hello Umbobo, I first met Hayley at her CD signing in Auckland, bac,k in April last year. It was a very special moment, but I was also very nervous! I gave her a card, and told her that everyone from HWI said hi, and she was very very pleased to hear that! You can look that up more here: hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=News&action=display&thread=1177658026The second time I met her was at her In Tune with Nature concert, only last month, where she remembered my name! That was a million times more special, because I felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. I think the whole concert was absolutely fantastic, but nothing beat the singing at the end where I met Hayley yet again. I can't wait to meet her when she comes back to Auckland. You can also see that story here: hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Concert&action=display&thread=1193765654And here are the photos of me meeting Hayley for the first and second time: First time meeting Hayley at the CD signing, Sounds Store, Auckland. Second time meeting Hayley at the In Tune with Nature Concert, Villa Maria, Auckland. Dori
