Treasure Slide-show

In appreciation of all the lovely photos that have been posted of Hayley over the past few years I have made a slide-show of Hayley from photos posted on this forum and put it to a medley of songs found on Treasure.
After discussing with Dave I have decided to post it here.

Hi Ross

What an absolutely brilliant idea - I love it!!

What I noticed particularly, seeing all the different pictures from different concerts and events put together as a slide show like that is that Hayley seems to be able to wear just about any style or colour and still look terrific!

It may be useful to some members to know that I couldn't watch the slide show initially and had to download Active DivX Control. Now it plays perfectly!

Think I'm going to have to watch it again now!!

After discussing this at length, we have now decided to remove the link to this excellent slideshow because there were some copyright issues which, regrettably, could not be resolved.

We have added some guidelines for the production of any future audio-visual slideshows to our Copyright Announcement here.

Thanks for this Ross, I enjoyed downloading and playing it, as I know many of our members did too. I have sent you a separate message about it. 10th October, thought it best to lock the thread now.

I hope that refers to doing something similar for "Pure" and "Odyssey"!!

Hi Grant,

The other thing to be discussed is copyright and/or crediting of the photos... but even the audio isn't risk-free as we have a conditional agreement with Decca about the use of audio samples.

We do need to take care with these kinds of thing, however brilliant the results may be, so we'll discuss it among the Management team then provide some further guidance about it, please bear with us.

Hi all! I remember in her live chat on Gather, Hayley said she saw the Youtube videos made to her songs, and called them "very cool!"

Hayley clearly doesn't mind. Isn't the artist's approval supposed to be the final word?

Hi Oksy,

I don't suppose Hayley would mind. Unfortunately, it isn't the artist who has the final word, especially concerning their latest album.

HWI has an agreement with Decca that we may use short clips of any song recorded by Hayley provided they are for streaming only - not downloadable. I assured Decca that our clips would not be downloadable immediately prior to the release of Treasure and it was because of that that we were allowed to include clips of ALL tracks on the main site.

The only way I could download the large slide show file was to save it the computer. After that, I could only get the audio to work.

Hi Joe It works on WindowsMedia 11 ( with the divX codec) but you might also try a divX player which plays avi movies. (It is free).
I must give credit to everyone in this forum who has posted photos of Hayley in the last few years.These are too numerous to name but if you see your photo I hope you do not mind me using it, it is my way of showing my appreciation of your work.

If the slideshow is too sensitive to be posted here let me know and I will delete it from my upload site.

I have Version 9 and had to download DivX before I could see the slide show and I felt honoured to have some of my pictures included.

Subject to copyright and other conditions our management have to abide by, I certainly feel it should stay.
