Hey guys,
Everything I've read about Hayley has made me see that her ultimate goal is to find ways to make this world a better place. I admire her because of her compassion towards people and her love for them no matter what their circumstance. I appreciate her dedication to projects like Bikes for Ghana so that these children who live in places where there is lots of sickness and disease, very little food, and bad water, will at least have a way to get to school so that they can receive a decent education.
My heart was deeply touched when I heard of Hayley's desire to help children with special needs and disabilities, and finding ways to help them be successful and feel like they are worth it. I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy, and growing up I had wonderful people in my life who were very supportive and helpful to me. But then, I also had people who looked at me, saw my disability, and refused to give me a chance. That's why, when I saw pictures of Haley visiting those children at Alfred Salter School and how happy they looked to be with her, it almost made me cry because in my opinion, the world needs more people like her.
At the age of 19, almost 20, Hayley has figured out what it takes some people a lifetime to figure out. That showing love, kindness, support, and compassion for people will get you further in this life than money, fame, and worldly success.
I love Hayley's music and I am amazed at her beautiful voice and how talented she is, but I am even more amazed at Hayley, the person. And I really admire her.
Thanks for everything, Hayley. You rock!
