In addition to their concerts for the public, many well-known singers give private performances at very steep rates ... in this morning's news: George Michael just pocketed $3 Million for a private concert.
I seem to recall Hayley was offered a few private concerts. Presumably they would have made it "worth her while".
Does she make her singing services available if the price is right? You see, I plan on winning the lottery this year and hope to throw myself a birthday bash. Everyone here is invited if she signs on.

You see, I plan on winning the lottery this year and hope to throw myself a birthday bash. Everyone here is invited if she signs on. Since it is a matter of private contract and of course she (and perhaps her expectations) have moved on somewhat, I won't give details (even through PM) but I can comment that an 'off the cuff' estimate from Steve, subject to detail, for a particular project was very reasonable. At that time she was in the wrong part of the world and there were several possible 'side' attractions' thrown in for free had she been able to make it. I.e. it was a business-funded 'private' arrangement, including exclusive flights (pre-paid for her, not out of her charges). Also, you would need her agreement as to accompanist etc.which has to be added in. I have a feeling, too, that she takes into consideration the nature of the event and (and here I am perhaps jumping in with all six feet flailing) would not be inclined to accept an event just because the host can afford it! Remember, admittedly because of a prior engagement but one nowhere near as financially worthwhile, she turned down the Beckhams! I don 't think this is a lady you can 'buy'. There needs to be something more than self-interest--and you appear to have cottoned on. . Perhaps if you were to promise to invite all HWIers for free (as you suggest)... she might not only say 'yes' but might come for free! Peter S.
